I just came home from the local fair and I’ve been thinking about the Chaotix going, obvi
Vector never went to the fair as a kid because his family never had the cash. he saves up for an entire year in secret to surprise his boys. Charmy is THRILLED. Espio just wants funnel cake, he doesn’t really like fairs.
Vector’s favorite part is the food. He always gets corn dogs and cotton candy and deep fried twinkies, the works. He’s also really good at the games, too. Like, terrifyingly good (you wont see him spend more than 10 dollars for a game.) He wins Charmy one of those huge plushie prizes from the really rigged games.
Charmy is a huge adrenaline junkie, he rides on all of the rides he’s allowed to ride on due to his size. He pouts and crosses his arms when a ride attendant tells him “maybe next year.” His favorites are rollercoasters and those spinners that make you feel like you’re warping into the next dimension
Espio doesn’t like fairs. He thinks the rides are shoddily and terribly built, and he dreads the long lines for the grody bathrooms. Among other normal icks you might have for the local fair. He’s only here for the funnel cake, everyone knows he has a huge sweet tooth.
I imagine Charmy would drag Espio on most of the rides that require a supervisor to be with a kid. Charmy knows he hates it, but he gives him puppy dog eyes. Poor Espio probably ends up losing his lunch (and funnel cake.) He HATES rides.
Espio does enjoy the face painting and such. And he forks up a few bucks to get a caricature done of the three. It’s hard to get Charmy to sit still after all that cotton candy, however.
Charmy ends up being held by Vector on the way back to the car, his little wings are all tuckered out. Vector offers to give a sickly Espio a ride too, but he insists he can walk. When the three get home, Vector carries a sleeping bee and chameleon up to their room. What a fun trip!
