Rosie Laughlin was in their sights. They were following her through the Green Dove pub for a while now, as she moved around, greeting people, seeming to have a nice enough time. It was one of the nights of the Christmas parties theyâd been having here. It was bright and loud, people dancing and singing at the karaoke machine. Stupid Christmas songs. Doing their best to bring out all that Christmas cheer. It made -A roll their eyes but it wouldnât last.
Rosie was still upset about Ezra dying in that Dollhouse explosion and she had been digging and poking and getting closer... just that little bit too close for comfort. They had left something behind at the Dollhouse and Rosie was getting close to realising before they could erase the evidence. Rosie was a good officer. Too good. Getting rid of her would kill two birds with one stone. Kill someone who could potentially actually find that thread of information that could lead to -Aâs identity, and show the cops theyâre not safe anywhere.
-A drank just enough to blend in, but not enough to be out of control. When the time had ticked away and Rosie was saying her goodbyes and then heading out the door and into the street, -A stood up. They followed at a leisurely pace for a few blocks, careful to stay far enough behind.
Reaching Castle Terrace, they picked up speed and caught up to her, rounding the corner out of sight of the CCTV cameras. Not that it mattered much since they had a mask on now but it was better not to give the police something to analyse. Grabbing Rosie from behind in a headlock as a struggle quickly ensued. She kicked and fought. For her life. It just wasnât quite enough and the energy soon drained out of her as she struggled to suck in a proper breath. Then her lifeless body slumped to the ground and -A let go.Â
âI told you that youâd never find me.â They muttered as they glanced around and then took off back down the street. -A went home and hid away, excited for the body of Rosie Laughlin to be found.

victim: Jacob Williamson
casualties: Larry & Kyle
Larry: Larry always loved Halloween, but he had to admit that lately in the town Halloween always meant problems. Kept him busy and as much as he wanted to be at home watching scary movies with Laura, the people of Baberton needed their police a bit more. At least he had the rookie with him tonight. "How are you liking patrol?" He asked Kyle.
Kyle: Kyle looked over at him for a moment. âI like it a lot.â He was hoping to to do his father proud, he really hoped he was. Luckily he got to go trick or treating with Dakota and the kids expect for James because he was with Kane but that was okay.
Larry: Larry nodded as he turned down the street. "Good. That's real good, kid. You're gonna get a lot of it once you're done with your probationary period. You thinking about specializing in anything?"
Kyle: Kyle looked over at him. "No, just trying to do my dad proud. Ya know." Gary Flynn was his father, and he was doing his best to make him proud.
Larry: Larry nodded, a small smile on his face. He knew Kyle's father and his death still hurt. "I'm sure he's already proud of you, kid." As he drove down the road his eyes narrowed on a building. It was supposed to be condemned but the door was wide open. "Looks like we got a security check. Want to call it in?"
Kyle: "I hope you are right." That was all he wanted to do make his father, his son and Dakota proud. Noticing the building, he nodded his head. Calling it in. "Let's go and check it out."
Larry: Larry nodded, pulling up to the building and flipping the lights on. Once the car was in park her got out and drew his service weapon. With Baberton being the town it was he didn't want to take any chances. "Take the six."
-A: -Aâs final Halloween act of chaos had been to lure Jacob Williamson out to the condemned building under the pretence of Josie being in trouble. They had stolen her phone and he had come running of course. With all the trouble in the Williamson family lately, they felt like making everything a little worse. Adding more fuel to the fire as it were, quite literally it would end up.
Jacob had burst into the building, calling for his cousin. Heâd moved into another room and, from there, -A had come up behind him with a knife, driving it into his shoulder, and then his neck. He went down but -A hadnât expected Larry and Kyle to come upon the building. Not that it would be a problem.
They were slightly startled though, annoyingly, but -A was quick to react. Moving towards the back of the building, dragging Jacob by his legs as the life ebbed out of him. He was unconscious but not dead yet - but he would be.
They got out their matches and quickly turned to start setting little fires, that soon flared out of control and just in time for Kyle and Larryâs entrance - right into the thick of the fire, ready for -A to make their getaway out of the back.
They didnât find Jacobâs body that night but they would find it in a few weeks, when the police came back to check the building.

location: The Attic Halloween Party & Bonfire in the Woods
victims: Joan Weston, Phoebe Taylor, Manon Wilson, Maxine Cartwright.
victim: Joan Weston
-A: They were standing there watching her, had been keeping tabs on her the whole night, but they were waiting for the right time to make their move.
Joan: Joan had just gotten to the party not that long ago and was enjoying herself. It's been awhile since she had been able to do that. She took a look around at everyone's costumes, most of them were definitely creative. "Oh excuse me." She mentioned before walking in front of someone.
-A: They had of course gotten a costume together that would hide who they were well enough but that wouldn't draw too much attention since they needed to stay relatively under the radar. Moving over, -A waited for Joan to walk closer to them and then they reached out to tap her shoulder. "Hi! I got you this drink, I noticed you didn't have one!" She trilled enthusiastically, holding the drugged drink out towards her in a friendly manner.
Joan: She looked over at the person speaking to her, Joan felt uneasy for whatever reason, but figured since it was Halloween it would be okay. " Oh, thank you. It saves me a trip to the counter for one." She chuckled, taking the drink, unknown to her that it's not a drink she should have. "Love the costume, what exactly are you?" She asked taking a small sip.
-A: "I'm the devil!" -A chuckled, nodding and feeling satisfied when Joan took a drink. Hopefully it would work quick enough, they had a big night planned. "What are you?"
Joan: Her eyes were feeling drooping but she let out a soft chuckle while holding onto the table next to them. " I think it's a good costume. I'm supposed to be  a witch." She told them quietly, " I think I need to sit down, I don't feel so good all of a sudden."  Whatever was in her drink,  it was causing her to be that way. She didn't know what was going on, and why she was feeling this way. But the minute she sat down, she felt even worse.
-A: -A smiled. "I like it." Of course they couldn't care about the costume, they just wanted to keep her talking. "Oh, careful." They pretended to be sympathetic, looking over their shoulder but nobody seemed to be paying attention. "Come sit over here where it's quieter." They insisted, linking arms with Joan so they could lead her.
Joan: "Thanks... I wasn't so sure if I was going to be this tonight or not." She told the person while she slowly walked towards the area they were leading her. It was nice that someone was helping her. Don't think anyone around the party would have done that. " I don't know why I'm feeling so tired and sleepy all of a sudden." She mumbled
-A: They shrugged. "Did you have much to eat today? That could be why it's hit you so quickly." She suggested, leading her closer to the little hidden clearing where they'd stashed their van.
Joan: Joan shook her head, " No... I had plenty to eat today." She said trying to look around and see where she was at, " Are we outside?"
-A: "Shh, it's alright." She continued to pull her along easy enough considering the drug had done its job. -A pulled their keys out of their pocket so it would be easy to shove her in.
Joan: "I don't think I should be outside... I should go back in." She muttered, feeling even more drowsy than ever. " Thanks for helping me though...."
-A:
"No, come on... over here, it's fine." They insisted, continuing to lead her along.
Joan: "No please let me go back inside. I can get more help." She told them trying to wiggle her arm out of their hands, although her wiggle was weak.
-A: All fake kindness went out of the window as they tightened their grip on her. "I don't think so." Joan was weak even if she was still fighting so that made it easier. -A tugged her a bit more roughly, towards the van they'd stowed away. "You're coming with me."
-A: She winced at the tightening on her arm. " I just want to go back." Joan mumbled. " I have work in the morning..."
-A: -A didn't speak to her any longer, instead unlocking the back of the van they'd dragged her to and pushing her in. "Just go to sleep, Joan."
Joan: She wanted to cry, but she didn't. Joan had no idea what was going on, and why she was leaving the party. But her eyes felt even more heavier. "I'm not sleeping , just closing my eyes..." She barely said above a whisper before closing her eyes and falling into a deep sleep.
-A: Once Joan was out -A knew she'd stay that way. Joan was left in the van until they got the others and then -A drove them out to the abandoned farmhouse, imprisoning them all by themselves in separate parts, since the Dollhouse was mostly out of action.
victim: Phoebe Taylor
Phoebe: Phoebe had been enjoying her night. As much as she had mostly come with Gabby to make sure that Max hadnât been catfished, it was nice to be out. Leaning over to kiss Gabbyâs cheek, she murmured. âIâm just going to grab us some more drinks.â She smiled, giving her hand a squeeze before moving towards the drink table.
-A: They had easily positioned themselves behind the drink table, looking like they simply worked there for the night, the pill they were about to drop into the drink they'd make sure Phoebe drank from tucked in between her fingers to make it easy to drug the girls drink to make grabbing her easier. "Oh, here you go!"
Phoebe: Phoebe smiled softly, taking the drink and taking a sip. âThank you. I just need another one for my friend too.â She explained, taking another sip.
-A: âOh, sure!" Nodding enthusiastically as they grabbed another drink, satisfied as they watched her taking a couple of sips. It shouldn't take too long, they'd just have to make sure she was more or less by herself. "Here you go." Maybe they'd lure her away or maybe she'd end up stumbling off herself but they'd be keeping a close eye on her.
Phoebe: Phoebe took the drink with a smile, moving back across the party to Gabby. She handed her girlfriend the drink with a smile, dancing along to the music as she sipped at her drink. Â It wasnât long before the whole room was spinning. She looked over at Gabby, giving her a small smile. âBaby, Iâll be right back. I just have to find something to snack on.â She kissed Gabby before turning and stumbling off, not really sure where she was headed.
-A: They kept their eyes on her, not being too obvious about it but also not having to do too much hiding, everyone was busy trying to have fun. -A moved through the crowd as they noticed Phoebe becoming more unsteady and then, like magic, she was heading off on her own. Perfect. They picked up the pace through the crowd, eventually coming up beside her. "Are you alright?"
Phoebe:
Phoebe looked up when she was spoken to, moving her hand to her head. âUm, yeah, yeah, I think so. The drink just hit me a bit faster than I was expecting it to.â She mumbled, looking over at them. âDo you know if there are any snacks?â
-A: They quickly linked their arm through Phoebe's to prevent escape, nodding. "Yeah, over here. I'll show you."
Phoebe: Thanks to the drugged drink, Phoebe didnât question them as they linked arms with her. âThank you.â She slurred, giving them a small smile. It was so easy.
-A: It was always so easy and it kind of made them smile as they led Phoebe away, eventually reaching the van they'd stowed to transport her off, obviously no snacks, but she seemed out of it enough to not be able to wriggle out of it. They unlocked the back, glanced over their shoulder and then shoved her in.
victim: Manon Wilson
-A: There was a lot of drugs going around tonight but that was fine by her, it was fun... to watch the people descend into chaos or pass out, and to get the ones she was taking into the van. -A's eyes settled on Manon through the crowd, marking her as their next target.
Manon: Manon had just come back from the bathroom, working her way through the party to try and find Brett. She moved to the bar, thinking it would be the best vantage point to find him.
-A: Moving over to the bar as they watched her go, -A easily slipped behind it in the crowd, acting as though they worked there. "What can I get you?" They asked, stopping in front of Manon, eyeing her carefully.
Manon: Manon turned, noticing the bartender. "Screwdriver and a beer please," she requested, figuring she would grab hers and Brett's drinks before going to find him.
-A: No other staff seemed to notice, probably due to the costume so they couldn't quite tell who they were. Still, -A had to be careful. They turned towards the back table to fix up her drinks, easily dropping the drugs into the drink before turning back around and sliding the two of them over. "There you go. It's free tonight. Have fun."
Manon: Manon was looking around, not paying attention to the bartender as they made her drinks. When she heard the glasses hit the table she looked back, ready to pull out her wallet. "Oh, thank you," she said, grabbing them and taking a drink of hers before she started to look for Brett.
-A: Their eyes followed her as she left and then they moved from behind the bar and back into the crowd to keep watch.
Manon: Manon began to stumble as she maneuvered through the crowd. The world felt like it was tilting on its axis more than it should. All the sounds around her seemed to blur and she ended up dropping the beer as she began walking towards the exit. Something was wrong and the bumping of people was causing her heart to beat faster.
-A: It hit fast and they were pretty pleased with that as they followed her at a safe enough distance through the crowd. Manon was the last one they needed to grab and get into the van and then they could finally be off to transport the three of them out to the abandoned farmhouse. Still, one thing at a time, they picked up the pace a little and caught up with Manon, bumping her slightly as an excuse to take hold of her arm. "Oh, I'm sorry!" A fake laugh. "Hey, are you alright?"
Manon: Manon nearly fell forward as someone bumped into her. If it wasn't for the wall she might have fallen over. That and the person who grabbed her. "Umm," she hummed, holding her head with her other hand. "I don't know. Something's not right."
-A: "Oh, no.." -A trilled, pretending to give a damn. "Come over here, I'll help you." They began to lead her away towards the exit.
Manon: Manon, not understanding or aware that this might be a bad idea, nodded, letting the stranger guide her away.
-A: -A found it easy to guide her off to the van, more than happy to quickly bundle her inside. "Just go to sleep." They told her, not even sure if she was aware of them anymore. "It'll be over soon."
victim: Maxine Cartwright
-A: They'd been watching for a while now. Maxine was the final one of the night and she should be quite easy. They weren't keeping her in the abandoned farmhouse out at the hill like the others, they had their own little plan for Maxine. Drugging her drink was easy, she wasn't even watching it, and they just made sure to stay clear of Carly until it was time to grab the redhead.
Maxine: She danced for a while, then tugged Carly off into the woods a little more to make out with her. She agreed to go home with Carly but she eventually felt so weird and dizzy, staggering off to grab something, and then disappeared and no one else saw her that night.
-A (text): This started with her, and it's going to end with you. Come to Annie's tree tonight or else I'll take away someone you love. -A
Chloe: Chloe had almost forgotten this bitch was still out there. Sheâd been in a bubble but now it had just burst. She didnât like the reminder that this started with Annie and reading that it ends with her just made her mind go to one place - still she couldnât exactly risk anybody she loved getting hurt. So she didnât really think about it as she forced herself up onto her feet and left the house.
Austin: The moment that Austin got that text, he knew something was wrong. He could have went to Isabel, but he worried that would only make things worse. So he stopped by and picked up Gemma instead. Just saying the Chloe was in trouble. That was all it took to get her into the car. âWe will start at Annieâs tree and then work our way out.â He said this as they moved into the woods.
Gemma: âThat sounds like a good idea.â It had been odd to come home and not have Chloe there. But then Austin showed up and told her that Chloe was in trouble and showed her the video. And they drove out to the woods. âYeah, that sounds like a plan.â They moved into the woods, and out towards Annieâs tree. âChloe?!â She called out.
Chloe: Chloe wasnât sure what sheâd been expecting but this wasnât it. Sheâd entered the forest and gotten a little way in before she was grabbed. She ended up tied to Annieâs tree and she felt quite stupid because of course what else should she have expected? She was already not keeping these babies safe and she was angry with herself. She wriggled as best she could but she couldnât get free, looking up when she heard the voices. Oh, no⌠âGemma? Quick, get out of here!â
Gemma: Gemma continued to move towards Annieâs tree. Hearing Chloe, she hit Austin on the arm and the two of them ran over. âBaby?â The blonde asked, panicking a little bit. Moving over to her, she touched her cheek. âAre you okay? Austin can you get the ropes?â
Austin: âChloe!â They ran over to her, hearing Gemma. He nodded his head. âYeah, yeah. Letâs get her out of here.â He started to untie the ropes when he seen the shadow. Someone in a hood. âYou guys need to get out of here now.â
Chloe: "You guys have to go!" She had been crying and she was getting more scared someone was going to get hurt now. She wriggled as Austin began with the ropes but she looked around again. "They're here.. they said it started with Annie and it ends with me."
Gemma: "We aren't leaving you, Chloe." The blonde told her girlfriend, as she helped Austin with the ropes. Hearing her mention that -A was there, she looked around some. After hearing a snapping of a twig. "No, nothing is going to happen to you or the babies."Â
Austin: Austin continued to work on the ropes, looking over at Chloe for a moment. "No, -A is wrong. This is me." He got them undone. "I'm part of their team to help get revenge for what happened to Daisy. But then you got pregnant. I choose you and the babies. Not them and my stupid revenge."
Chloe: "What are you talking about?" She stared at him. "You mean..." He'd been doing their dirty work?
-A: "Aw, don't worry, Chloe. I get it, baby brain. But you better catch up quickly. I don't have all night. Though it seems someone's made their decision." They had weapons and could defend themselves so sthey weren't worried about being outnumbered.
Gemma: Gemma couldnât believe what she was hearing also. âYou put Chloe and the babies in more danger over this?!â Gemma wrapped an arm around Chloe.
Austin:
âYes, you know exactly what I mean.â Austin looked over at -A. âTake it out on me. Let them go.â
Chloe: Chloe knew he was upset about his sister but she didn't know what this could achieve. "I.." She didn't know what to say so she didn't say anything else. -A was right here and she felt like she needed to run but she knew she wouldn't be able to. "We have to go..."
-A: "Come over here then." They told Austin, staring him in the eye.
Gemma: Gemma moved her arms around Chloe more when Austin moved to stand in front of them. âCome on, baby.â She helped her up the best that she could.
Austin: Austin moved to stand in front of them. Moving over to -A. âDo your worse.â He would fight to protect them. âBecause I do choose them in the end.â
-A: They lingered by the tree they were standing at, where they had a hatchet within easy reach. "Oh, I will." -A told him, staring him down through their mask. In one swift movement they grabbed the hatchet in one hand, grabbed Austin in the other and pulled his arm down, pinning it against the tree. Then they brought the hatchet crashing down.
Chloe: Chloe was scared. This person had killed so many people and she wasn't sure what she was meant to do. "Austin, no..." When they grabbed him, Chloe screamed.
Austin: âChloe get out of here..â He begged, he was more then willing to die for them. After all they were sorta of family. Hell they were which is why he had chosen them. He hadnât expected -A to grab him like they had. The moment that they pinned his hand down and then cut it with the hatchet, he screamed out in pain. Naturally he tried to cover it up with his other hand.
Gemma: Gemma found herself screaming as well. She watched as -A had grabbed Austin and cut off his hand. âCome on we gotta go..â The moment that Austin fell to the ground, she knew that they had to go. All of them.
Chloe: "Oh my God! What--!" This was insane, she couldn't believe that had even happened. "We won't make it, he'll bleed out! Call an ambulance..." She reached for her phone but she didn't have it. She could see blood and she was starting to panic.
-A: They didn't care if Austin would survive or not, they didn't care either. He was no longer any use to them, whatever allegiance had passed. They made sure to grab the hatchet so they couldn't pull fingerprints and slipped back into the trees.
Austin: Austin had fallen down to the ground. Doing his best to keep his hand covered. Somehow his head found its way into Chloeâs lap. âIâm sorry for all of this.â
Gemma: âWe need pressure on it.â The blonde thought out loud. Ripping some of her own shirt to wrap it around Austinâs stub. Finding her phone, she held it up. âStupid service come on.â When she finally got some bars she called 999.
Chloe: She shook her head, sinking to the floor as she held onto Austin, unable to tear her eyes away from his injury. What the fuck was happening right now... "Austin, just hold on, alright." She tried to help keep pressure on it, feeling pain herself but ignoring it for just now since her adrenaline was so high.
Austin: Austin was losing a lot of blood, and he wasnât sure if he was going to make it or not. This would be his punishment and he deserved it. âJust make sure to tell them that I loved them and would do anything for them.â
Gemma: Gemma heard the sirens in the distance. âThey are coming, Austin just hold on.â She turned on her flashlight on her phone. Looking for his hand. Finding it. âThey can get it back on.â
Chloe: "Stop it, you're not going to die!" She turned as she heard the ambulance coming, wincing as another sharp stab of pain ran through her. "Fuck...." She muttered.
Austin: Austin was doing his best not to focus on the pain in his wrist because his hand being gone. Looking up at Chloe. "What's wrong?"
Gemma: Gemma moved over to them, putting her hand onto Chloe's back. "Baby? Is it the babies?"
Chloe: "I think... I think they're coming..." She said, panicked.
Austin: "Now?!" He winced out in pain but did his best to ignore it cause Chloe needed him. But the ambulance showed up along with some cop cars. He went to sit up a little bit, and then fell right back over and passed out.
Gemma: "Over here!" Gemma yelled, panic had clearly set in for her since Austin passed out. "They cut off his hand! My girlfriend..she's in labor!" She told the EMTs as they moved over to them. "I have his hand."
-A had been laying a little lower lately - they had a lot on their plate with Jamieâs Dollhouse and the high profile deaths lately had sent them underground a little bit, watching and waiting. Always watching. But they were back with a vengeance and had decided to utilise Nikki Clayworthâs apparent desire to be on the -A Team. Of course, they werenât entirely trusting of her but she provided easy access to the newspaper so for that reason alone, it was useful to keep her around.
Get the info I put in your purse front page or I'll make sure your ex-boss comes and gets you. -A
The information in question was details of Joan Westonâs secret past as an escort. Of course, Joan wouldnât want anybody to know about that and if thereâs a secret, -A was going to sniff it out and most likely expose it. Now it was Joanâs turn. Nikki would have to work overnight to write up a whole article around the information that -A had sent her, and then secretly get in and change the front page of the newspaper just before print. It was risky but if she got caught, -A would still be clean, just the way they liked. Why else would they have -A Team Members, after all? So all they had to do was sit back, relax, and wait for the bomb to drop.
The next morning, Baberton awoke to another day. Another day, another newspaper full of questions about the serial killings. Frong page news however, was of course Joan Westonâs sordid past. -A smirked - clearly Nikki had gotten away with it. Whether or not sheâd keep getting away with it wasnât -Aâs problem. Nothing would lead back to them, it never did. The article had everything -A had dug up on Joanâs escort past, complete with pictures so everyone would know exactly who the article was talking about.

Kane messing around with a barely legal girl, nearly a decade his senior? No oneâs saying anything about that?
đ¤ˇââď¸
-A messages are sent out as and when I feel able to send them tbh.
The last few weeks Iâve not been totally mentally there and I guess Iâm sorry if youâre impatient or excited (I get that!) but idk Iâm more important to myself than a roleplay account lmao. I used to make myself sick staying on top of -A messages and every single interaction on the dash and I donât do that anymore because itâs not healthy so Iâm sorry if Iâm too slow some weeks :)
Iâve also said many times that updating the main about relationship changes/affairs/general new developments really helps to prompt texts from -A because I just cannot keep up with everything going on at all times -- there are so many characters and so much going on that Iâm going to forget things, itâs just inevitable! :)
Some will be sent out soon enough though. <3
idk if i'd say barely legal either she's nearly 21 lmao
I am heading home, sista, if you wanna meet me there. I will be there in about 10 mins for your kid. <3
Audrey had stopped to type the message to Amanda before picking up her carryout sack and drink from the table. She turned her back to the door and pushed it open. âHave a good night!â She called out to the staff before turning to start her walk through the parking lot. Rivetâs had been rather packed tonight, but it worked out just fine since she called directly from work. The only annoying thing was she had to walk so far to get to her car and she never made things easy by just carrying one item. She could hear footsteps behind her, but honestly she resisted the urge to look back because she knew that she was naturally paranoid. She reached into her purse to dig for her keys. Her heart was beginning to pound in her ears and she could feel the beginning stages of panic. It was fine though. Nothing was wrong.Â
This was the first time that her paranoia might have been something that she should have listened too. She reached up to place the drink on the roof of the car when someoneâs hand wrapped around her. She jumped, swiping the cup off of the top of the car and all down her front. âCan IâŚ?â She went to let out a scream, but a hand wrapped over her mouth and nose muffling the sound. She heard her keys rattle as they smacked the concrete. She had one single passing thought that maybe she should have listened to that little voice but that was the last thing before everything faded off to black.Â
They had been hanging around for the last few weeks, just sort of watching her. Taking in her routine and her schedule. Audrey Henderson was todayâs target. The fact that she was Ricky Hendersonâs sister put her in their line of sight anyway. The fact that sheâd been attacked last year made the fact that she didnât appear more outwardly vigilant at this point in time, despite the fact they werenât exactly concealing every single one of their footsteps, fairly amusing to -A.
Too easy.
After she left Rivetâs, -A made sure they were following at a fairly safe enough distance. Theyâd already parked their little van up nearby Audreyâs car for a quick getaway. If there was something they learned from watching Jamie Kirk, it was to be clean, quick, and meticulous. He just hadnât been careful enough.
It was when she was placing the drink on her car roof that they took their final steps and made their move to grab her. Hand over her mouth. Over her nose. Block out the sound. Hold on tight. They were stronger than Audrey was and they already knew that. Eventually the struggle was done and Audrey was unconscious.
The dark shielded them as they dragged her towards their getaway vehicle, chucking her into the back as they moved to the front seat. Leaving her car the way it was. Keys on the ground, drink spilled. They knew theyâd left no fingerprints, but they could hear voices coming a little closer and they werenât about to get caught while carrying out a tiny little kidnapping. -A immediately drove off, leaving the scene to take Audrey away, excited to watch the pieces fall when people realised she was missing.
Theyâd thought that this would be much easier than it actually was. Killing Angel (disgusting as that had made them feel) and getting Imogen that note at the graveyard. They were supposed to be the keys to drawing this -A out and catching them once and for all. Bringing the bitch down and ending this game for good. Red Coat had been created out of sheer desperation. After Kelly killed herself⌠it had been the last straw. The catalyst.
Slipping into their room at the Bridgefield hotel, they made sure the curtains were closed and the door was locked. That the room was secure. It was the way they had to live life right now. Carefully. So, so carefully. Right on the edge. One wrong step and they would fall down into the pit for good and then what? -A would win. Again. This game had to end and it had to end now. It had gone too far and too many people had been lost, one that they especially cared about. One they owed it to, to end this.
A few hours later, they opened their eyes. It was dark now. âShit.â Theyâd fallen asleep. Checking the clock on the bedside table and seeing that it read three am, they groaned and forced themselves to sit upright. The still open laptop was casting a dim glow and just as they leaned over to close the thing, a strange feeling overcame them all of a sudden. Something didnât feel quite right. Trying to ignore it, they stood up and moved towards the bathroom, splashing water on their face. Then, as they lifted their gaze up to the mirror, they saw it. Just a flicker of movement behind them.
Somebody else was in the room.
Turning quickly, but not quick enough, they were suddenly in a one-on-one tussle with what they assumed to be -A. If -A knew they were here and if they were attacking themâŚ.that meant theyâd figured them out. Figured out they were Red Coat and they were trying to get them out of the picture⌠so soon after theyâd joined in the game.
âStopâŚâ They spat out as best they could, -Aâs fingers clasping around their throat. Nobody was in the room next door so even if they made a lot of noise, it would do no use.
âIâm never going to stop, Adrian. But you are.â Was all that -A said in response, squeezing tighter and watching the life drain from their face.
Red Coat. Adrian Wallace. One and the same. The life drifting out of them.
After telling Imogen about Nina and Annieâs grave, and leaving town, Adrian had holed up here in the hotel, seething and grieving for Kelly. Poor Kelly. He couldnât stand it. His best friend, his whole world. She was just gone and he knew it was partly because of this stupid bitch. -A. So heâd devised a plan and done what heâd had to do. And now he was out of the picture. Off the board almost before the game even began.
-A was too good for him⌠and now, -A concluded as she let go of his throat and stood up, he was back with his best friend. Smirking, she turned and moved for the door, feeling like nothing would ever bring her down.
Note; The end of this para will also reveal (ooc) the identity of the current -A! If youâre someone who doesnât want to know who they are just yet you can choose not to click the read more!
Halloween had gone down without a hitch, really. During the party, -A had managed to snap a few photographs of people who wouldnât really want the pictures to get out. Theyâd taken Lucas Pike and his little friend Ana Maxwell out for a little âwalkâ just to give Dakota and her new apparent girlfriend a good scare. On the walk out, theyâd even had some time at the end to be able to send some texts to Emma Williamson since she was dodging the whole holiday in general.
The haunted house was a little quieter to start off with. Metaphorically anyway, there was screaming coming from all the idiots wandering the maze. For -A, it was mostly a spying mission. Reconnaissance. They moved with ease to different areas of the house, watching, waiting, snapping pictures. It was such a good way to spend Halloween. They could only imagine how stir crazy Jamie was getting sitting in his cell right now, thinking of all the things he could be doing, all the ways he could have protected his sister.
There was a little hidden room, the door of which was concealed by decorations, and thatâs where -A had ended up right now. They had a knife in their pocket and it wasnât long until they had their eyes on the perfect victim for Halloween. It had just sort of slid into place without any planning at all on their part. They had Alexandra Willis in the perfect position to get her out of the picture and create some real chaos and grief. The knife came out and -A was preparing, hiding behind some decorations when suddenly someone else stumbled upon the little hidden room, crashing right into -A and laughing a little drunkenly. -A turned and realised that it was Gina Parker and she realised the laughing had stopped and Gina had noticed the knife, and the stack of Polaroids that had fallen to the floor when the two had collided. Gina was putting it together, too clever for her own good really, and that was when -A knew the victims had to be switched.
It was quite quick. More of an impulsive act out of sheer necessity. Pure survival. -A wouldnât let themselves be caught, not now, not by anyone.
Truthfully, as it turned out, this wasnât one that they actually found themselves fully wanting to do. Not tonight at least.
Because -A was Ella Burke and Ella Burke had actually started to feel something for this stupid woman... and now sheâd had to kill her. What a pity.
She turned and slipped from the room after a moment, deciding as the blood pooled from Ginaâs lifeless body, that it was about time to call it a night.

If there was one thing that would really get to Jamie Kirk, even from behind bars, it was little Frannyâs last curtain call. Getting rid of Jamieâs beloved sister, the sister he never touched or sent a text, would really get him and show him who was in charge now... and there was nothing he could do. Not even Tyler or Katie would be able to save her and then heâd have no one left.
She was fairly easy to follow around. Clueless really. Complacent. Maybe she thought she was safe but she was the baby sister of a serial killer. Of the last -A. She was anything but safe. She was walking around, smoking, cutting, writing, working, hanging with Kaiden... and not looking over her shoulder.
Big mistake.
They followed her and Kaiden out to a field near the site of the old barn. The one that had burned to the ground with her and her friend inside thanks to Bradley Miller... though Franny thought it was her and -A had no intention of letting her know it wasnât. The pain it caused her, the best friend and lover she thought sheâd killed, would follow her to the grave.
The two of them lay in the grass for a while, laughing and kissing and whatever else. Stupid. They had no idea -A was even there. -A waited it out, until Frances got up and moved away from Kaiden, telling her to go meet her back in town. Then she started towards the old barn. The barn had been rebuilt but it wasnât used anymore and Frances came out here a lot. It was out of the way and she was alone. Sort of, anyway. Kaiden was nearby, not leaving fast enough, but far enough away for -A to get Frances alone and see an escape route. Mistake number two. It was easy to creep up behind her and grab hold of her. She never saw it coming and couldnât get any sound out to warn Kaiden due to surprise, and soon they were inside the barn, fighting. Frances fighting for her life... but sheâd lose. They always lost.
She was weakened soon enough and it gave -A enough time to turn and run out, bolting the barn door behind them before the finale. Fire. Francesâ biggest fear. Her greatest nemesis. The thing that would be her demise. Her screams were loud and Kaiden did hear this time, and see the fire that was killing her lover, but the fire engines wouldnât get here in time to put the fire out and save her life. -A stood in the shadows of the trees for a little longer to make sure she didnât escape and then, when it became clear Kaiden had called in the black smoke and the flames in the distance by the sirens coming closer, they turned away with a smirk and ran.
If only they could see Jamieâs face when the news reached him.
Annieâs old friends were easy targets. This all started with Annie, after all. The game. Daisy. Jamie moving to pick up the pieces after she killed herself. His downfall. It all led here. The girls were always where most of the anger was directed and it was always too easy to go back to them. To give them the worst. But the game had grown and -A was now the backwards vigilante of the entire town. Spotting lies and deceits and vowing to do something about them. That was how they saw it. And if they got to have a little fun along the way or tell a few lies of their own to reach their goals, then so be it.
The next lie was another one for Imogen Ford. Another set up, to mess with her already weakened mental state. Not that any of their mental states were any good. The murder cases werenât going anywhere and it was frustrating for the police, for the residents, and even for -A. Seeing someone innocent go to prison or at the very least be heavily questioned for these murders... thatâs what they wanted.
So they were sending another envelope to the police for Imogen Ford. Sheâd done something in the Dollhouse to get herself off from being a Jessy Wright suspect but this wasnât about Jessy. This was about Evan Johnson. First they put some photos into the envelope. The arguments between Imogen and Evan; Imogen looking angry, like she hated him. Angry enough to kill, perhaps. Then some texts. Imogen complaining about not wanting him in her life; in her motherâs life, bitter about his cheating with Kelly. They hadnât all been sent but -A had managed to get them from her drafts folder long ago, long before theyâd been deleted, and the screenshots were real enough. It was things that the police would at least have to look at. Even if it may not be as believed after the Jessy Wright thing... it wasnât as hard hitting as the final piece of the puzzle they put into the envelope.
A security camera picture of Imogen Ford, drugged up from her first weeks in The Dollhouse, standing outside the back of the pub with a knife in her hands and blood all over her hands and shirt. The date on the picture had been changed to make it look like it was in December 2015 when Evan was killed, and not two years later like it really was, when the girls were taken. She looked glazed and she wasnât all there which would probably make everyone think she was just... having one of her episodes. An episode that could have led to murder? Thatâs what they wanted it to look like anyway.
These are the secrets that will be outed during the event, and the ways in which theyâll be outed. Videos will likely be projected onto a screen. Photocopied papers will likely just be scattered around.
Will photograph @juniper--jo and @kendrick--fletcher kissing during the event and text the pictures around.
Will project proof of @isabel-pierce and @austinxramseyâs former affair onto the screen while the mayor is giving a speech, finally publicly outing this.
Photocopies of a page from @ainsleyxhamiltonâs file from when she was involuntarily committed to an institution
Photocopies of @faye--gordonâs adoption papers that proves she is @maxinecartwrightâs biological sister.

location: outside the kingâs head
victim: @alexander---turner
They had been skulking around the party, mostly unnoticed and if they were noticed they didnât really look out of place. Anyway, there were plenty of people here who werenât invited and it didnât matter either way. They had a specific plan in mind for tonight. A double kidnapping. Sophia and Brooklyn. Panic both Eric and Alexander at the same time. Plus Imogen and Macey - though theyâd have preferred Ruby, but she and her daughter were unfortunately absent from this particular gathering.
It was getting dark and theyâd slipped outside. There was sounds of laughter and music behind them. The adults were drinking and the children in attendance were thought to be in a safe environment. It had been easy to convince Sophia to come with her, Brooklyn in -Aâs arms. Under the pretence of a trip to feed the ducks but they had a grip on Sophia to make sure she didnât slip away.
What they didnât bargain on was the fact that Alexander was outside too. Maybe he was getting air. Maybe he had to make a phone call. -A didnât know and -A didnât care. All they knew was that it threw a wrench in their plans as their grip on Sophiaâs arm and the look on their face probably betrayed that they were up to no good. Alexander came at them, questions about what they were doing with the children, and -A started spitting out threats. They had to get these kids away from here or it would be a ruined night... plus Alex had seen their face. He would have to go.
Pushing Sophia behind them caused the little girl to fall and hit her head on the wall of the building. She started crying. -A snapped. Alex came towards them again, snatching Brooklyn away, shouting. There was commotion and -A was eager not to have anyone else inside the party hear anything going on out here. Alexander had given Brooklyn to Sophia in the next moments and told them to go. To hide. -A went after them, grabbing at Sophiaâs jacket to keep her close, but Alexander pulled them back.
Then, in the next moment, they were pushed up against the wall of the pub and Alex was trying to get someoneâs attention. That couldnât happen. -Aâs plan changed in an instant. Survival instinct kicked in and they shoved, as hard as they could, surprising Alexander and then gaining the upper hand. Quickly pulling the knife from the inside of their boot... and stabbing him four times. Dragging him a little out of sight into the alley, and looking around. The children werenât in sight. Fuck. They had to go. The door to the Kingâs Head opened and the chatter inside got louder, and then -A was turning the opposite direction, walking away and round the corner, away from the party and away from their plan.
Alexander Turner would die from his wounds. It wasnât the plan but it was, in the end, maybe even better.
He had gotten some text messages from Paul, and of course he had answered them right away. Before he had a chance to react, he felt something that felt like a bee sting. âWhatââ That was all he got out before he fell to the ground, hitting his head in the process. Passing out from whatever was in the syringe.
It was easy after that, too easy, everyone was distracted by the party out on the street. -A was pretty well equipped for dragging his unconscious body down the rest of the alley and to the back of their van but they knew they had to still be quick. Opening the van, they dragged him in, and then slammed the doors shut after zip tying his wrists together just in case but they really didnât expect him to stir for a long, long time. Driving off in the van nobody would even be able to link to them, taking him to the spot they would keep him so they could finally push Faye to spill to Imogen.
