They all knew eachother as kids, but just happened to go down different romantical paths. However- There's some divergences before they necessarily get to their romantic partner.

Early years: Tea crushed on Joe, but seeing Vessel liked him and let him have him without ever letting Vessel become aware of her crush towards Joe.

Tea and vessel are brother and sister (adoptive), Joe and rosé are also brother and sister (also adoptive) so those groups grew up with one another, and also both families lived near eachother.

Allen and Speyer do have previous romantical history before meeting, both being gay but having wives for either security to not be caught (Allen's case) or because Speyer knew Canet was rich) That being said, where the kids come from are Speyer: Chalice and Barrel (and in turn Mal kinda?) Allen: Rooty Together: Bubble and Fizzy (stork program)*

Vess & Joe’s kids:

Ginny: surrogate

Cuphead: surrogate

Lou: baked*

Mugan: baked*

Rosé & Tea’s kids:

Mugman: surrogate

Zinfa: surrogate

You know what: in general, whose kids are more difficult?

Each of the kiddos have something challenging about them. Eve is a tad bit too sensitive, Val closes himself off a lot, and Mallory is very greedy and doesn’t always keep her mouth shut.

But Val is the most difficult. He’s very aggressive and very hard to deal with because of the fact.

This has been in here since september so I don't think there's many drawings coming from it, but yes they have pets. Vessel and Joe's pets can be seen in this picture.

Rose and Tea have a puppy, a Pomeranian named Pom-pom. A gift to rosé from a friend of hers. (Curly has realized that she has no idea how to draw Pomeranians.)

Speyer and Allen have a bunch of birds because they breed birds. (Allen handles canaries, and his breeding pair is Sunshine and Lemon. Lemon comes with him to the mines) (Speyer has a masked love bird named Artemis which Marsh drew a ref for so here)
