Don't Spell My Name Wrong

First of all, this is racist.

Second, Baking Show used to be about baking, but now it's about FOOD, and they are not equipped to handle this. I was already thinking that before the photo of that taco, when they made pizzas and those smorgastortes. Paul Hollywood may know a lot about baking bread, but he's not even a cake person much less a food person! It used to be Paul did bread and Mary did sweets and that was what the show was about. But now MOST weeks have a savory, food-based challenge, and that's outside the wheelhouse of the show! On bread week they didn't even make any bread!

And Paul Hollywood has the palate of a, well, gray haired Brit. Every food is too spicy for him. He doesn't like many flavors. His palate seems very unexciting and frankly a little racist. He gives the side-eye to everything. I find it, frankly, unpleasant to watch.

I still love the contestants and I like Noel but I think the rest of the show is nonsense. You get no sense of whether anyone can actually bake bc they spend so much time preparing pizza toppings.

Baymax in the new Baymax! show buying pads for a girl who got her first period and getting help from people, including a trans man.

A VERY dorky tiger shark!
