@parlezvousladybug That stabbing people cross-stitch you tagged me in was a riot, but I wanted to show you the project I'm currently working on:
It's a recreation of the classic Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring poster! It's a ten page pattern. What you see here is only two and half pages.
I think this is proof that I have the patience to stab something literally tens of thousands of times, and I can do so slowly and methodically because I can play a long game. ( •̀ᴗ•́ )و Ψ
Excuse the poor lighting and wrinkles. I had to pin it to the fridge in order to get a decently flat-ish picture, and I won't try to iron it out until it's finished. ^_^;
*stares*
You think I’m insane for the evenstar shawl?
*continues staring*
The evenstar shawl takes skill and talent to undertake so many different stitch techniques and understand what the instructions are telling you.
All this cross-stitch needs is the ability to make an X with thread over and over and over until the sun eventually swallows the earth. XD
It looks complex, but only thing I'm doing is filling in 10x10 stitch squares and moving on to the next one.
See? Literally just pixel art with thread. :P
Even so, the patience and time and time and MORE time to do that piece?
Well, you got me there. Patience is definitely a virtue when cross-stitching a behemoth like this. ^_^;
