So this is the photo in my sidebar, this was me a week before I started my diet, don’t let the fact the coat seems unzipped fool you into thinking I’m not all that huge, all the dark green and pink is yours truly. UK size 18-22, 19 stone and 13lb, a measly little lb away from the big 20.

This is one of very few photos that exist of all of me, and it was NYE in Moscow, I’m headed back there in 9 days and intend to be looking nearly 2 stone off hotter.

So food shopping I love/hate. Love buying the raw ingredients and imagining what delish dishes I’m going to make. Hate the temptation.

Usually I am very good, however today Asda had the peanut butter cup Ben & Jerrys…. I’m sure you all understand the significance of this, and to add insult to injury, instead of costing nearly £6, it was £3. Now I didn’t get to 20 stone saying no to these kind of offers. Hell just the other day I had a whole tub of hagan daaz, for the low low price of £2.39.

Currently trying to eat the hottest curry I’ve ever made with some fruit to balance the insane damage I’m about to do. I’m sweating it out as I eat it it’s so hot.

I did also get a ton of ingredients for curries, lasagna, pasta dishes and stir fries! And a butt load of fruit.

Starting slimming world, I remember first standing on the scales and hearing my weight, that moment where not only I learned what I weighed but so did 2 people I had never met before. I remember that unlike my mum and B, my club 10 target weight was a whole 2 stone lower than my starting weight, while they had a mere stone to lose for club 10. However, it's today, sitting at my laptop I am happy to announce, having lost 4lbs last week and getting my stone and a half off, I have a mere 6lbs to go before reaching my club 10 target!  In 3 weeks time I will be on tour, and during that time I only have 2 more weigh ins, during the 3 weeks I have before the tour I have 4 days in Russia. So my mini goal to myself, as I have said before, is to get this 6lbs off, I'm determined, I'm  motivated, I'm fucking ready. 

Going shopping today for food so I can spend some time with my boyfriend and still stay on plan, I have no reason to go off plan, no reason good enough, no reason worth staying fat.  I allow myself Thursdays(weigh day) as a treat day, because after that I have a whole week of being good, means I have to behave at the weekends but it's so worth it. 

So, I've been putting off writing this one for a while, nearly a whole week to be exact, and thats because, even though I was only a half a pound off of reaching my stone and a half target, the indulgences of last week were far too great, and I gained 2½ lbs. 

It could have been much worse, I'm so glad that I stuck to meal plans and had my 1/3 fruit and veg, if it were more than ODing on desserts I could have been in serious danger of it being 5lbs or 7lbs, and while this scares me I just can't seem to get scared or motivated enough to get back on track, instead of the 3 classes I'm meant to go to a week with a personal trainer, I've only attended 1 in 2 weeks.    As for food, my meals have been at random times, and my sleeping pattern was upside down for most of this week, not much fruit this week as I'm currently unemployed and currently broke. I've been eating a crazy amounts of eggs and pasta. 

I can't seem to stop nibbling on little things, like jaffa cakes, or little bits of toast with full fat butter, ice-cream, pasta sauce from a jar(!) and jelly. I've been doing squats every time I'm standing doing nothing, or waiting on things, even if I don't lose a lot of weight before I start work, my ass is gonna look as fab as I can make it. 

Valentines day, in my eyes, is probably the second greediest holiday, if you're spending it with a special someone, you're eating and drinking and throwing a diet plan out the window and if you're not you're watching bridget jones with your good pals Ben and Jerry and shouting at the TV that you understand! I speak mainly for myself.  So my boyfriend and I got back together last week and I was dreadlookingforward to V-Day, and I was so bad, I baked and ate said baking, pastries and strawberries and chocolate and croissants, then I had ice cream and wine and vodka and FULL SUGAR COKE. Not to mention the brownies.

I have from now until Thursday to pull the reins tight and lose at least a pound to make the stone and a half award, I really want it, I've promised myself a new purse if I can lose 2 stone in total before I go on tour, and I really want that purse! Can I do it? Hells ye...hopefully.  I'm starting to see the weight loss myself, around my face, my neck, my legs, my poor boobs who have sadly lost 2 cup sizes, a moment of silence if you will, my tattoo is moving down and to the right, interestingly.  I feel fitter too, being actually able to chase my dogs down and catch them (sometimes). So far there isn't a single downside to this lark. 

So I managed to lose 4 lbs this week, even with all the indulging, I can't believe it! Nearly 1 and a half stone off in 5 weeks, I'm amazed. Although I don't think I'm going to be so lucky every week, I've a sneaky wee feeling it's going to run out soon and I can't be having that! I'm 6.5 lbs off of my club 10 goal, (10% of my body fat) and I'm determined to do it in 2 weeks max.

I have 3 weeks of super awesome weight loss left before I leave for Russia, then on tour! Although there's Valentines and a Pre-Birthday before I go, so I'm going to have to really behave the rest of the time. I have the hottest dress for my 20th, going to wear it both at home for my pre 20th party and in London for my actual 20th, even alone sitting in a hotel bar! 

After Saturday I'm going to kick my ass into gear and really do my best to get as much off this week as I can. 

2.45AM on Valentines and 5 weeks after I started this blog, and I sit here weighing in at 18.6½ stone, a beautiful total of 20½ lbs off in 5 weeks. 

I'm going to be so friggen hot this time next year. 

I've had an awful week regarding my diet/change in lifestyle Ice-cream, cupcake, chocolate, chinese food, butter! WHITE BREAD! CHEESE!

So today I started seeing a personal trainer! Only half hour sessions twice a week but that is more than enough for me, I am dead.  My arms and legs and bum and stomach hurt, and my pride a little but we'll get to that. 

We went in, and theres two older ladies doing their finishing stretches, and they look 100% fine so I'm like aw man this is gonna be nothin.... I have never in my life been so wrong, I am a very unfit person, stairs, long walks, anything that makes me jiggle, gets my heart rate up and my breathing hard to do. So going right into a lot of jiggling and muscle workouts that I'd never done before and didn't have the muscle mass to support was killer for me, I'm ashamed to say I can not to a lunge, and squats? Ugh dear god I am a terrible squatter, all of this was fine though, because hey, the guy does this for a living, he's got to have seen all sorts, and when he brought out the mini trampolines I was just dreading more jiggle.... this is when my dignity upped and left me, jumping on the trampoline, punching and jumping simultaneously, it broke. Audibly, noticeably, while I was being directly looked at. DEAD. 

The words 'I'm too fat for your trampoline' left my mouth. Mega brain fart. 

I had to stop a few times, and my lovely big belly got in the way of the ab exercises but I done my best, and I nearly can't wait to see how I feel about this in a few weeks.  

I got the news I leave sooner than I thought, March 11th is now my d-day.  9lbs off so far, and another month and a half to go, with the inspiration the amazing people on this website provide, and the support of my slimming group, and the take no shit attitude of my personal trainer, I can fucking do this!

One thing I am finding hard on the Slimming World plan is how much I have to, HAVE to eat every day, it’s a lot of food, and it doesn’t make sense to me how I’m eating more than before and losing weight.. But I have set alarms for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it’s working.  I’m awful at remembering to take photos of my food, but here are the meals I’ve photographed.

Picture número 1 is nearly the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten, a healthy mans pizza.

One wrap, from my healthy b option, topped with my home made tomato sauce, (it’s entirely super free) my 35g of cheese from my healthy a option grated on top and then the best bit, the toppings!  •Half a jalapeño  •Half of a sweet red pepper •3 broccoli stems •Handful of chopped asparagus •Handful of baby corn •Fresh rocket

I had it in the oven at 160 for 8 minutes until the ‘crust’ was a golden brown.

A grand total of 0 syns!

Pictures 2 and 3, really just a standard stir fry.  As on this weight loss plan ready to go sauces are counter as syns, I toss the vegetables in soy sauce, with 2 cloves of garlic and then I throw a variety of spices ontop; • 1 tbsp cumin • 1.5 tbsp Chinese 5 spice • 1.5 tbsp Chinese medium curry spice  • Salt and Pepper as desired.

The veg in this story fry consisted of; •Bamboo shoots •Water chestnuts •Red, yellow and green bell pepper •Asparagus •Broccoli •Baby corn •Pea in the pod

(All this veg and 2 nest of drier noodles served 3.)

After cooking the veg in this for about 5-8 minutes I threw then on top of some whole wheat noodles.  Very filling and 0 syns!
