I love you. I’ll always love you. The minute I saw you, I knew that I would. These last few months have been awful, though. You’ve been moody, unpredictable, running hot and cold. You treated me like a pariah. I know what’s on the line for you, I know you’re going to put yourself first, and I know you have a lot going on, but I reached out. I was vulnerable and I needed you and you ignored it. When I continued to try, you pushed me away. Finally, I pushed back. I don’t regret it, but it’s been the longest we’ve ever gone without talking. You’re my friend first. It doesn’t matter that I love you. I just miss you. I wonder if you ever cared, or if you were just lonely. I want you to reach out. I want to matter to you. Do I? Did I ever?
