Today I have released my brand new design on Ravelry: The Only Way Is Up! Cowl A stunning symphony of alternating stockinette, texture & lace, The Only Way is Up! Cowl was inspired by the beautiful yarns I used in the sample knit. I used 5x 20g mini skeins from JennSheelen, that she drew the inspiration for from the Pixar movie UP! Developing my design along this same vein, I used a simple texture pattern that reminds me of balloons, and a sophisticated arrowhead lace for the middle section. I cast on a new winter hat this afternoon. I love how this yarn is knitting up, and the pattern is gorgeous (“Café au lait tam”, free on Ravelry). The yarn I’m using is Purple Haze by @feltfusion.
