Did they died in the same moment in which they learnt about each other love and without know if they will ever met again? YES.

Would i have prefered to see them run away to Alpha Centauris at least once and kiss out of happiness? Yes.

Would they want to see all the humanity suffer again to restart the SAME UNIVERSE with the SAME RULES followed by THE SAME PLAYERS just for a love that in THAT UNIVERSE was impossible? NO.

What make them who they are? just the memories of their happiness togheter or their souls being so tied to each other to find a way to always met themselves?

Aziraphale is the same goofy and sweet librarian that loves silly stories and food and that still research for a reason for his action. In a universe built by God WITHOUT GOD we see Aziraphale's soul still researching for a reasons bigger than him.

Crowley is still in love with the universe and its secrets, is still the same man that does not fear to follow his intuitive mind, that is Aziraphale's anchor to reality and to the moment, and the same man that in a universe free of every "ineffable plans" can only ask for that freedom that he always wanted for everyone and himself.
