I've not been too well lately, hence the long breaks between posts and in art overall. Ive been getting in and out of weird, toxic situationships, even getting back to some old ones just to get reminded why they didnt work out in the first place lol, anyway i got hurt pretty bad from all of this and im still dealing with some of those things just because im trying super hard not to build an emotional wall around me and let people be imperfect and not cut them off immediately, but also stop caring as much when it happens again and again. To top it off of course there are also tough family issues im having, which makes me rely on my friends and my friends only when it comes to reassurence or help in general. Also im getting out of therapy after like 6 years and ive been off meds for the first time in almost 5 years for 3 months now, and im feeling fine but yeah, its still been really tough with whatevers been going on in my life. During all of this i decided to try a new art medium which turned out to be extremely soothing, oil pastels are great!! (if anyones ever thinking about trying them out, PLEASE do, seriously, theyre super fun. ) and so i wanted to share some of the things i created using them, and if anyones feeling that way, i just want to say it does get better and it will, even if it seems like there is no way. Reach out to someone, talk to friends, family, just talk about your feelings, let them all out!! Getting help is seriously worth it, even if it seems like its going to take forever.
OH also important thing, the lyrics are from adrianne lenkers, heavy focus' and dogbites ,good boy', the rest arent quotes just random thoughts i associate with what i was feeling during drawing those things
