i gotta whine about someone because they posted ai ppg slop yesterday and they've been annoying me even before that. it started when they complained about artists giving the girls different body types as adults.
i think it's a very common trope (my designs are like this!) to age the girls up and give them different body types. blossom is usually skinny, bubbles is chubby, and buttercup athletic or curvy. i do not understand the hate for this - it feels right for their shape language (blossom square, bubbles circular, buttercup triangular) and the lifestyles they would probably live as adults.
if it's because you don't think the girls should be individuated as they grow up, that's also kind of an insane thing to say. bubbles, blossom and buttercup all have different friend groups at pokey oaks, different hobbies, etc. they'll engage with each others' friends and play with each other, as sisters do of course, but they each have their own things they like outside of just being the powerpuff girls. they even have different reasons for being the powerpuff girls outside of having superpowers and believing in justice! bubbles loves to help people and save animals, buttercup loves to beat up bad guys, and blossom likes planning and executing tactics. (yes, there's overlap of course - but they each have their own main motivations because of their personalities.)
some of you are just haters for no goddamn reason. miserable and sad
