it is incredibly evil to weaponize the word antisemitic against palestinians and their supporters, especially when many of the supporters are jewish themselves. this is not about israel being jewish. it is about israel being an apartheid state. it is about israel settling on land that’s not theirs. it’s about israel’s ethnic cleansing of palestine. it’s about israel’s displacement of palestinians from their own homes. it’s about gaza being the biggest open-air prison in the world. it’s about israel having the power to deny 2.2 million people (nearly half of which are children) of electricity, food, and fuel. it’s about fighting for the liberation of the oppressed.

twisting this to be in support of antisemitism is despicable. though i’m sure there are some people who are taking this opportunity to be discriminatory towards jewish people, that is NOT why palestinians are resisting israeli occupation nor is it why the large majority of supporters are in support of palestine.

only caring about violence when it impacts the oppressor is disgusting. only caring about violence when it impacts yt folk is disgusting. western media’s response to this is white supremacy in action.
