my name is milani cordelia and i am (currently) a non denominational christian who is very interested in learning about catholicism. i plan to use this blog as sort of a place to document my thoughts as i go along on this journey.

i plan to sign up for OCIA this year, even though my whole family is non catholic so it makes me quite nervous. but! i feel like since i am curious and the Lord has kept it on my mind, it's important for me to explore. whether it ends in confirming my current faith or ends in converting to catholicism, i'm excited for where the Lord is leading me regardless.

Depends on what you mean!! The class itself is going quite well!! We just had week two this past Sunday and I learned about the mystery of the Trinity!! Being from a Christian background I already knew about the Trinity but not about the fact that it’s considered a “mystery.” I didn’t even really know what a mystery was haha.

If you mean how I’m doing emotionally… ehhhhhh I’m up and down. My parents are not very supportive of my sister and I doing this and I’m worried they will try to stop us from going. Even the homily sunday was about the division that faith in Jesus causes, dividing households two against three (Luke 12:52) which really struck home because we are a house of five.
