Happy new year to all the big spoons

#yes this sounds kinda random but hear me out #for the past 4 days me and this guy have deceloped a system of who gets to be the lottle spoon #cause i ofc prefer being the little spoon always cause im smaller than guys #but he loved being a little spoon too #so we alternate between who has to be the big spoon #and damn its hard work #like hes way bigger than me so i literally just cling to him like a koala #but appearantly its good enough for him to continue wanting to be the little spoon #and then i await the moment in which we switch and i can be the little spoon i was destined to be #might delete this later lol idk why i considered this important info #but like?? idk #im really hhappy that this guy wants to be a little spoon #its just weirdly sweet? like i cant describe it but im just happy hes open about it #and for that reason ill keep trying to be a good big spoon

#aka throwback to the time me and this guy spent three years just dunking on each other at best and hating each other at worst #and like we were pals but not really #like we were part of the same circle #and occasionally had moments of being close but not much #and then one night he called and asked if i wanna hang out and drink some wine so we did #and we got way too drunk and were alone in my apartment so we were just joking around and poking fun at each other #and we started arguing as per usual and got really close so me being the dumbass that i am just said 'haha are we about to kiss right now?'#and so we just flat out started making out like theres no tomorrow #and in between kissing we would both say wHAT THE FUCK ARE WE DOING and continue #and wed also say NO ONE CAN EVER HEAR ABOUT THIS #while still not stopping lmao #and thats the story of my first kiss #and we were both highly aware of the fact that like #if any of our friends found out it would be hell #and while making out wed say tHIS IS PURELY PLATONIC #but like #it wasnt xd #and then literally a day later i was with my friend and he was calling me and she picked up instead and was like #'wtf why are you calling her and not me'#and i was just cringing cause i knew he was calling to like #check if were chill #which we are #and then this girl told him to come over to hang out with us and he awkwardly did and the three of us were just sitting there #and she started saying how her and this guy are way closer than i am with him #and i was like lol whatever sure #side note they kissed 2 years ago #anyways then she says #'well yeah! like did YOU have his tongue down your throat? i didnt think so'#and both me and this guy just choked on our beers and pretended not to have a joint heart attack xdd #we still laugh about it

I think your love would be too much

Im posting this since Im pretty pleased with how it turned out! buuut its a vent drawing so vent under the cut, but from a visual analysis point Ill just mention that the ‘meaning’ of the drawing is the juxtaposition between the bright colors of the background and the bleak sketchy reality that is hidden behind those bright colors, its edgy, but it works! xd

Okay so today I was reminded of the fact that a show called “Keeping up Appearances” exists and it was my absolute favorite thing when I was younger and i don’t know how but the main character Hyacinth Bucket is like... either Feliks or Arthur depending on the scene, so i hAD TO DRAW THEM IN SCREENSHOT REDRAWS

I had so much fun drawing these!!! This show is really funny and has some great lines like the ones features in these drawings!
