Adding an update for my irl friends who might see this-- ya girl's been going through it a bit (healthwise) so while I may/may not send msgs here and there yea. That's it.
So it’s a migraine day. I’m starting to realize my migraines probably haven’t improved as much as I first thought. . .
I just can’t remember them. Like last week? I don’t remember it all actually. But I’m sure I had back to back migraines because a lot of my random tangents were made via voice message, so that I wouldn’t have to look down at my iPad.
I’ve also been consuming books almost exclusively through audiobooks. Because I never know when I’ll get another migraine and it’s just easier if I have the audiobook version for when that happens. Like I was doing all this, navigating my life in such a way, and still managed to forget that my migraines have only MARGINALLY improved. Ugh. I was deluding myself.
BUT
I was deluding myself WHILE eating WAYY healthier and taking vitamins so. . . maybe that’s the vibe. It’s not like I have health insurance anymore.

I ended up splitting my cooking to-do/wishlist btwn both days. Today was hand pulled noodles. The noodles were fine, I used Maxine sharf’s cookbook. The sauce was pretty not good and quite acidic. I will try to make my own sauce tomorrow.

one of the things i’ve loved about getting to watch OPLA, is being able to watch it with my family. like i’ve talked their ears off about one piece for yearssss. my family doesn’t really watch anime or if they do, it’s because i’m watching it on the big tv. so to be able to sit down and watch this season with them and commentate on things has been so much fun! when i showed them s1 back in 2023, i never expected for them to love it as much as they do. like my siblings rewatched s1 a couple times while at college!! that was huge for me!! and s2 they’ve been asking questions about who is who and giving comments and it’s so fun for me trying to be like ‘oh you know them’ or like ‘just keep watching you’ll find out’. and now s2 has them so excited for s3!
and i’m not expecting for them to go and watch the anime or read the manga, that’s just not their thing y’know? but just them enjoying the story and getting hyped for what’s to come next is just an amazing experience. and it’s not like i haven’t engaged in one piece talk with other people, my cousins are pretty big fans so i talk to them about anything one piece related, but it’s different when it’s people who are learning everything for the first time. they get that shine and excitement in their eyes that i had when first watching the anime.
