Here they are clearing their way through a Brhi Xur-pattern Ship Breacher "Leech" that attached itself to one of the airlocks, as featured in CE's gameplay.
These were the two playable Spartans from the first Halo game, and I rather enjoy Halo team dynamics.
It's a fitting time to make this, given the release of Halo: Campaign Evolved!

I've been reading more Halo lore lately and read most of the original 2001 Fall of Reach novel by this point (my 5th Halo book! It's much better than the film I saw a couple years ago that made me think I didn't have to read the book), and I've been enjoying the Spartan teams.
I figured I'd work on some renders by utilizing and modifying the amazing Fall of Reach Spartan Pack for Blender created by B_does_stuff of The Halo Archive! I was working on another one, but that was taking a while and I wanted to put something out after it being so long since I've done so, so here we have our two CE Spartans in the in the Combat Evolved Anniversary Pillar of Autumn map and featuring custom "remastered" weapon models created by various members of The Halo Archive. This one featured Master Chief Petty Officer John, Sierra-117 of Blue Team and Petty Officer, Second Class Linda Pravdin, Sierra-058 of Green Team. They do have their number emblems too, though you can't see them in this particular render. The colored team arm bands were crudely made by me based on the art from Halo: Fall of Reach - Covenant, as featured on Halopedia. Linda's helmet was a cross between the one made by B_does_stuff, inspired by her Mk IV helmet from the comics, and the normal Mk V helmet she wears in-game (I just took the Mk V helmet and stuck the Argus piece of her Mk IV on top of it.)
As for my modifications to the existing stuff, the rig was the included one; unlike most of my previous work, I was satisfied with this rig, and namely just had to fix up the missing Emission toggles and helmet light colors. I added a glowing ability to the ICWS' flashlight too, and added spotlights for it and the helmet lights. I also made the inside of the weapon barrels glow faintly to make them easier to see, with the logic that if they'd just been firing a lot of rounds, they would've heated up.
Once again my page is straying from strictly RvB material, but hey Halo and RvB are obviously quite related, though I am a much bigger fan of RvB than I am of Halo.
