some notes on Simon’s mutations

bro is a tree and human put in a blender essentially

he has roots and branches just grow out of any space that he has to trim a bunch but he left a bunch growing from his back long so he has enough leaves to photosynthesize (he doesn’t wanna take up resources)

if left alone growths from his legs will try to fuse with the existing branches to grow into a trunk

the teeth and eye are left overs from mutations before the tree happened

the more stuff grows from him the stronger the urge to bury himself and take root becomes

can take nutrients from soil if he puts a limb in a hole or something

can’t control branches individually but can do general movements as a whole

If given a prosthetic the grows would likely go over it and render it useless

Grace got a tree cus the sub grew into a new more normal sized one (the sub became a sort of seed for Simon and the blood tree)

the seedling had a lot of care put into it and once it became the blood tree it cared for those in its grasp

Ellie had her body rebuilt by the tree after absorbing her very large body (my excuse for including her the tree molded her ass like clay fuck you pinhole god)

basically tree became godly said fuck you to the light and threw their asses into phm does it make sense no but iron lung has eldritch horrors so fuck it we ball
