what are some of your pre release or otherwise before you played theories that ended up being untrue or never touched on as a concept

I'll go first:

In the lead up to switchback I genuinely thought the cat from Little Hope and tdim would be revealed as a supernatural entity, like the Curator can turn into a raven so perhaps Belial was the Cat, obviously there's no signs of the cat being anything but an animal and we'd have to go earth side to see them again but supernatural or not I do still believe it's the same animal

This is all in good fun of course so there's no shame in these things so have at it, what did you get wrong going in blind?
