         Conor didn’t see why he needed to take some courses. He was a music major, one that just wanted to take music classes. But, he’d been put in English classes, like he knew everyone had to take, and they were given group assignments and assigned a partner. He’d seen Caroline in class but hadn’t talked to her that much, really. But, they’d agreed to meet somewhere to at least work on it.  

“I buy from this guy who lived on my freshmen floor,” she explained to him, a smirk on her face. “He’s from Colorado, so it’s all good stuff.” Jane took the bowl back, allowing herself to take another few hits, having to light it back up in the middle,

“That makes sense. I have a guy, but he’s your typical stoner with you know, the same stuff. It’s better in Ireland. But, this is good.”  He smiled at her, as he watched her.  “I mean, obviously I do more than smoke and drink though, music major and all.” 

     “cool ‘cause i need you to write me a song,” she practically demanded, nodding her head as she looked at him. “it’s very, very important and i need it asap. and it has to be good, like, the best song i’ve ever heard in my entire life.”

             “Well I can’t help but be a little jealous then. I’m not the worst at handling my liquor, but I certainly ain’t the best,” a light chuckle, he moves to stand, only a slight wobble as he snickered yet again. “Well cheers to another night like that, let’s load up on a little more, yeah ??”

“I do,” Jane smirked at him, sitting down. It barely took her a few minutes to grind up the weed and pack the bowl, lighting it only after she opened the window in her apartment. She took a hit from her, letting the smoke escape her lips, before handing the bowl and her lighter over to him.

He smiled at her. “That’s always good to know.”  He watched her do it all, and she definitely knew what she was doing. Some of the girls on this campus, well they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. He lit it up and then took a hit, breathing in before letting it out slowly. “That is good.”

“Average?” Ivy released a dry chuckle. “Nothing about me is average. You should know that by now.” She rolled her eyes at him feeling the need to explain the word and headed back towards campus. “I know what the damn word means. I’m not an idiot.” Ivy scrunched her nose at the thought, though it didn’t surprise her at all. “Gross. What the fuck?”

       ‘ that’s probably not very realistic, ‘ gigi said with a laugh. ‘ i’m pretty sure you can get drunk any time you want here - who gives a shit what people think? ‘ she rarely did. ‘ is that why people in ireland sound like…that? ‘

            “Probably not, no.”  He shrugged. “I have always kind of done my own thing. It’s harder to get drunk here. The drinking age is incredibly stupid, if you ask me.”  He smiled at her. “Sound like what exactly?”

     “you’re a music major, right?” the blonde hummed, sliding into the seat next to him where he sat in the library. she leaned her elbows against the table as she looked at him, not even really stopping to think if he was in the middle of something or not. “because i need your help with something.”

             “Well if we haven’t died yet, I say our LUCK is lookin’ pretty good ; after all, what’s one more night ??” Sure, that’s probably what most people think before doing dumb shit that gets them hurt or worse, but hey — life was boring without a little consequence. “Besides, the only REAL way to get rid of a hangover is to drink more, so it’s just a constant state.”

“Everyday should be Friday.  Some weeks, I swear. You know in Ireland, everyday is like Friday, and people get drunk, no matter what day it is. Here, people get judgy.” 

“Sharing sounds like the perfect plan,” Jane smirked at him, biting the corner of her lip.

He smirked at her. “It wasn’t like he was a druggie or anything, he just knew what he could handle, and he was a musician.  “Works for me. Your place or mine?”
