This is a pretty cool easter egg that I only now found out. In The Land of Stories, the first chapter we meet Mother Goose in is called "Loosey Goosey", and in A Tale of Magic, it's revealed her real name is Lucy Goose (pronounced Loosey Goosey). This probably wasn't intentional but I still found it really cool.

This is something I just realized that I found kinda interesting, Conner was stuck inside the portal for about a month in A Grimm Warning, and we know that you don't age at all in the portal due to the soldiers staying the same age for 200 years, which means that technically Alex is now a month older than Conner, and when Conner was celebrating his 80th birthday in Worlds Collide, he really still had to wait another month lol

I think I've found even more plot holes/cases of Mother Goose lying. In the Mother Goose Diaries, she mentions her first solo trip into the Otherworld was in 1349, but in Worlds Collide, she says, "As I said to the Children’s Crusade of 1212: Get out of here, kiddos! This isn’t your fight!" Yeah, that's not making sense lol On another note, in The Enchantress Returns, the Musician, one of Ezmia's lovers, is heavily implied to be the Pied Piper. Ezmia said, "I showered him with gifts—in particular, an infamous pipe he used to magically clear a town of rats." But in Worlds Collide, Mother Goose claims she's the Pied Piper, so which is it? I also already mentioned Mother Goose saying she's Guinevere (King Arthur's wife in the stories), but now I kind of doubt she was telling the truth about that lol

Here, on the next episode of me overanalyzing the Land of Stories series: Hell exists somewhere in the Fairy Tale World and Alex probably knows the Devil. I know this sounds crazy 😭 but listen to me on this one, in the series, the Brothers Grimm were "employed" in a sense by the Fairy Godmother to share Fairy Tales to the world. I think all of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales are real, because faking some would definitely break the Fairy Godmothers trust. So, back to the point, one of the stories by the Brothers Grimm is called "The Devil with the Three Golden Hairs". Near the end of the story, the main character, a boy whose name isn't revealed, gets sent to hell by a greedy king, who wants three of the Devils golden hairs. He doesn't die or anything, he just walks across towns and crosses a river, and strolls inside hell like it's a normal Tuesday. So this means that hell exists somewhere in the Fairy Tale World, and Alex is definitely aware of it, being the new Fairy Godmother and all, and has MOST LIKELY SPOKEN TO THE DEVIL BEFORE. Also unrelated to the post above, I just wanted to share a cool theory I have. In another story by the Brothers Grimm, "The Robber Bridegroom", there's a young woman who is about to be married to some guy. He complains she never visits him, so he tells her the way to get to his house, and it turns out it's deep in the woods. She goes inside the house on Sunday, and it's very creepy with no human in sight. She sees birds in cages warning her that she's in a murderer's house, but she continues in. Eventually she finds an old woman shackled to the wall in a basement, telling her to hide, for her soon-to-be husband is a murderer. (Warning: This part is kinda gruesome) The man comes in the basement and drags in another girl he found, planning to eat her. He chops her into pieces, but the ring on her finger won't come off, so he hurls the finger in anger, and it lands in the young woman's lap. She leaves when he goes to sleep, and tells people what happened, and the man gets killed at their wedding. I heard this story when I was young and wondered why that story, and a lot of others, weren't included in the Land of Stories series, but maybe it was. I think this man's house is the house Morina lives in, the one where the missing children were found. It matches the description perfectly: A creepy house deep in the woods, has a bunch of dark aura surrounding it, and has a big basement used for horrible things. Obviously this theory is a huge stretch, but I just wanted to write about it somewhere, because I found it super interesting.

I'm not sure if it's exactly said how fast the time difference between worlds was before the twins were born so I decided to calculate it: In A Grimm Warning, Rook tells Alex he's 15 but technically 115 years old due to the sleeping curse. Alex was 14 at that time which means that when she and Conner were born Sleeping Beauty's curse had only been broken for about a year before the worlds got synced up. Charles Perrault's original story of Sleeping Beauty was published in 1697, and the twins were likely born in 1997 (I can elaborate on that if you want me to). So this means that 1 year in the fairy tale world was about 300 in the real world before the twins were born, and 1 day in the fairy tale world was about 10 months, that's a much bigger difference than I expected it to be. But also we don't know exactly how many days Rook and Alex were born apart. It could be 1 day or close to 2 years lol, which means that a day in the fairy tale world could be anywhere from 5 months-300 years (😭) in the Otherworld, I guess it makes more sense for it to be 5 months, but I sure hope it isn't 300 years lol
