The more I think about it, the worse my opinion of the SDMB becomes.

Like in the Sekwang disaster, they used the scales of evil to determine people's rescue value. Which wouldn't doing so waste time? Like you need these likely panicking people to line up in an orderly fashion, and stab their hearts!

No way in hell was that going calmly during the actual disaster!

And even if it worked by using the fate and name, like Bronze said the scales used (which theres a chance only started happening not too long before he joined the Bureau), to judge and then rank people on their conscious probably wasted so much time they could have used to actually get people out of there.

Plus, how the hell did they have such a horrible response to the disaster? The cheerful research institute labs were in the subway, right under the Bureau's nose, and they didn't find notice ANYTHING off?

During the disaster there was a massive egg growing on the roof of a building! Eun Haje saw it, how the hell did no agents see it and come to the conclusion that it could be what was causing the disaster? Did none of them report it?

They're gov agency, so they should have been able to easily drop a small explosive like a grenade, or at least something onto it! But they didn't even try that!

They needed THREE days to do the ritual to seal the city, so they had three days to fly a drone or use something to get a birds eye view of the situation! there should be zero excuse for the fact they didn't notice or just didn't try to do anything to the egg

And honestly I think I need to retract my opinion that it was only the higher ups; and not the individual agents, that are corrupt, here is a little from chapter 224:

What the hell Bronze???? and this was even before Agent Choi asked about Kim Soleum.

and Bronze is supposed to be the one who follows the SDMB by the book the most (aside from when it comes to KSE). If he was so willing to do this, then what about other agents when they get somewhat emotional with a prisoner? Do they just send them in the Nightmare maze willy-nilly?????

Theres also when Go youngeun's superior seemed to be reckless and not really caring of consequences when they just opened the door to the 4th floor in lookymart, causing both their own death, and Go Youngeun's contamination.

A lot of people focus on how the cast might feel towards Soleum when its revealed that he is Ireum, but I'm mainly worried on how the Bureau or gov will act.

I'm worried they're gonna try putting him in a contract similar to Director Cheong's. Where he can still use his ability and suffer the loss of self that comes from it, but still be "functional" in the sense that they can direct him with commands into doing what they want.

We know the Bureau, despite the fact it is one, if not the best, organization that tackles ghost stories, its still fairly unethical, and will do ANYTHING to save as many lives as possible, we've seen that they:

-Aren't above torture, seen in the interrogation methods and the fact they have a nightmare Labyrinth to get information from those in glass prisons.

-Aren't above killing (possibly innocent) people, like I get most people in the murder lodge was a criminal in some way, and would likely get the death sentence somewhere, but BSE was given his tape by a relative, and KSE just got in by accident, so there could very easily be innocent people regularly getting caught up in that one and getting killed.

And even if it's not the Bureau themselves, we know the Gov there is absolutely corrupt, and wouldn't be against using him for whatever, since they:

-Prevented deep research into Jisan village, a Luminous cult ghost story, so they couldn't end the disaster. and the fact the happy ending sect was able to settle down there half a year later?? Like c'mon, that seems suspicious as hell

-Buys potions from Daydream, y'know, the corrupt business which seems to send at least hundreds to their deaths every year? Well to be specific, it said "Important people" buy em, but the gov falls under that. Plus there's no way in hell they haven't noticed something off about daydream, like the fact people who get jobs there seem to go missing or die pretty often?

I'm 99% sure the twins from the happy end sect are gonna reappear in part 3. They're both named characters, so them showing up just once wouldn't feel right.

Besides, Lee Seoyu (the twin sister) screamed Ireum-nim when KSE was 'reading' her, which could be a final cry for help, but I think it was her realizing that KSE was in someway part of Ireum.

I'm pretty sure she is alive too, since it was described as "leaving behind last words LIKE a dying scream",

His whole thing is entertainment and it's constantly said that he strangely has body heat. He is incredibly powerful and seems to be aware of stuff like the future.

Honestly the only reason I even considered this theory is because of the poem in the mountain lodge in chapter 52

"The Rabbit bakes in the kitchen, the deer is caught in the backyard, the pigeon is fattened in the bedroom, the lamb is sliced in the living room"

I only just realized Jisan village's thing of the chosen sacrifice dying and becoming a god was foreshadowing.

Since KSE's current body is a Good Friend™, and if he dies he'd go back into his original body, the summoned Ireum-nim.

There is another related thing I'm curious about though, we know with Braun that aside from just the mind, the Good Friend summoning also filters the abilities the being has.

I'm pretty sure that KSE's wiki editing abilities are derived from himself and not the ghost stories making up his Good friend body,
