it's always the funniest thing to me when people compare kim dokja with kim soleum cuz especially when looking at their introductions / beginning of the stories sol is genuinely just an infinitely more successful dokja. he's got a decent job, unlike dokja who's a contractor--hell, the guy got employed like 6 times in the ghost story world despite being a self-proclaimed coward, he's stupidly fit (ambidextrous, mentions he can throw proportionate to his body weight?) which isn't really a parallel but it's definitely enviable, and even his hobby he's embarrassed of is incredibly popular (among students mostly, but still better than twsa).
he's like that one successful family friend or cousin that your parents always compare you to lmao
