This year I’ve been working really hard at losing weight. I have a lot of chronic illnesses and an eight year history of eating disorders, a lot of which went untreated, so once I’d come to terms with my weight and was prepared to do the work, the ghosts from my past kept popping up and I just wasn’t getting anywhere. I ate so much but I couldn’t understand why, so I couldn’t change what I was doing in order to eat more healthy food. Finally, in combination with daily exercise, I decided to work with a psych to deal with my eating disordered thoughts, and oh my god. As of today I’ve lost 10.5kg! It’s been very hard to put in so much work and not see results, but now that I can see the difference in my clothes and on the scales I am so proud and excited. I have a long way to go but I’m so relieved that I understand my past a lot better and can actually move on from it now. Bring on the rest of 2018!

how fun! i visited taiwan in november with a pal (๑･̑◡･̑๑) and am currently in japan visiting relatives. i’ve been so caught up in the travelling that i haven’t had time to think about the year…and oh how fast it has passed! can’t believe it’s december already aaa and 2018 is just a wink away :’)
