Well today, you’re in luck. Tumblr now has a tip jar.

This feature will allow you to gift a little something to support your favorite content creators. It’s a win-win: creatives can make a little money from their work, while supporters can tip posts they love in fun, playful ways. And it’s here after much popular demand.

So, how does it work?

It could not be simpler. Select the “Tip” tab on the post that you want to tip, then choose an amount. You can send a message with your gift, and see other users who have sent tips on the same post—unless you send a tip anonymously, like some sort of superhero. Once finished, take a moment to imagine creators basking in the warm glow of appreciation, or a tinkling sound as your gift lands in their jar.

Tumblr tip jar is available to all US users from today. Not in the US? No problem—it will be extended to all users soon. Tumblr will not receive any portion of these payments, though third-party payment services may charge a fee. If you have any questions, then head over to Support, who will be happy to help.

How many times must we tell you- you can not receive compensation for fanworks! …well, I mean, you can…if you want to be sued (and have the time & financial means to piss away on a lawsuit you’ll lose) then by all means, go ahead dumbass.

If your post/content is 100% pure, original IP courtesy of you and you alone and in absolutely no way actually or imaginatively derivative of any copyrighted work, then take the risk of fees and trusting tumblr arranged third party companies, if you want. Ya know, tumblr? The people who can’t even stop bots and has been failing epically daily at removing all the evil porn since 2018? Yeah, those masterminds.

Because David Aja isn’t even credited in the show. Because David Aja wasn’t even payed.

And worse yet, it seems they didn’t even offer him the bullshit $5,000.

Marvel misuses their artists, writers and creators.

Disney is full of greedy assholes.

David Aja and Matt Fraction are beyond skilled, and Disney blatantly ripped off David’s entire style from the font to the coloring. And they ripped Matt’s story straight from the pages. It’s a carbon copy of their work.

Creators deserve to be compensated fairly for their work.
