08.04.21 • I ’ve been feeling so proud of myself and so capable lately. Since my dissertation presentation went beyond my expectations, I’ve been feeling like I can do literally anything I put hard work and effort into. It’s such a wonderful feeling since I’ve been struggling for a while now with uni and rough patches. ♡

an apple a day keeps the doctor away, unsure what two cappuccinos will do

going to finish my german revision today. i just need to write like a ‘stock’ essay with paragraphs on anything i could possibly write and then write notes on that! the system worked really well for my film essay, so hopefully it will be good for the book…

so i’m not sure how well the assessment i did yesterday went cause i ran out of time and had to really rush the end. the knowledge is there but i don’t know whether the last page of the essay is enough for the exam board. that sucks a bit cause i know that i can usually write a great history essay but you just have to move on and focus on the next thing. next week i only have two assessments and i have a long weekend so i think i’ll have plenty of time to prepare and revise

research has been a little slow-going but at least i’m making some sort of progress and though small, it’s something to celebrate

Returned to my dorm yesterday. I just couldn’t concentrate on my paper with my family and friends around. Hopefully I’ll finish it until the deadline.

We do zoom sessions almost every day now, sometimes even for the whole day. When we're not studying, we’re doing chores or one of us is reading and the other watching a movie. It really helps during lockdown.

i delayed this for an hour (because i was jamming to the moana soundtrack and crying over the good dinosaur again) but i managed to finish writing my comparative essay and make notes on how to do it :)
