So!! Colin!! I am not convinced that all that happened to him was a gruesome death. I would not at all be shocked if it was some sort of "worse than death" scenario. Either way, I keep thinking of it as the computers growing into him, until you can't quite tell the difference between the cords and wires and veins and arteries. Electric impulses from the computer finding pathways through his nervous system. Maybe he was lucky and this killed him, or even luckier and it happened after he was already dead. Or maybe he's stuck there, just on the edge of consciousness, thoughts that were never meant to be a person's slicing across his mind. Too hard and too sharp for them to travel through his head with pain. The angles cut him when he tries to think, and the computer will never let him stop thinking.
