I WAS RIGHT!!!!
Iron Lad and Doom trying to bring back heroes, but they have to do it manually instead of using the Maker's stash.
The idea of a reality where Jason doesn't die but still ends up as Red Hood oughghghhhh
something that i think is really funny is that a lot of superhero comics are infamously byzantine to get into, requiring third-party reading lists and differentiating between identically-titled series relaunches, but despite that, if you want to get into Spider-Man, it is genuinely good advice to just start with The Amazing Spider-Man #1 from 1963 and just keep reading until you get bored because it is literally just heater after heater after heater nonstop. I don't know if a single other superhero ever came out of the gate swinging so hard in the history of the medium in a way that still feels just as amazing today
like it cannot be stressed that almost every single major player in Spider-Man's rogues gallery were created issue-by-issue right out the gate. In the first calendar year and change of the series, you get, issue by issue:
#1: The Chameleon
#2: The Vulture
#3: Dr. Octopus
#4: Sandman
#5: Dr. Doom (on loan from the Fantastic 4)
#6: The Lizard
#7: The Vulture (returns!)
#8: The Living Brain (okay maybe this one isn't an A-Lister anymore)
#9: Electro
#10: The Enforcers
#11: Dr. Octopus (returns!)
#12: Dr. Octopus (continuation of #11)
#13: Mysterio
#14: Green Goblin
#15: Kraven the Hunter
And it's so goddamn stacked that after issue #15, the first Spider-man Annual #1 is able to include a Sinister Six. They did not hold ANYTHING back for even a SECOND

I just hate the Rebirth retcon of Chris Kent so much
do you think when Carol Danvers turned into Binary Star in Uncanny #164, any of the x-men thought 'man. we have got to stop letting women with the word marvel in their codenames into space.' bc thats a two-for-two on Woman With The Word Marvel In Her Codename turning into Fire-Based Cosmic Entity while in space. the Shi'ar must be sweating.
Just a reminder that if things had gone differently, Alex Summers father-in-law would’ve been Magneto if he married Lorna Dane. The wedding and family reunions would be super awkward
I just finished The Boy Wonder by Juni Ba and 1) it’s amazing and 2) I didn’t know Dick and Barbara were married in it plus they have a baby! I’m a huge DickBabs shipper so that made me happy especially with them still being superheroes too and not doing the we have a kid now, can’t be heroes. And it’s got me imagining how Jason, Tim and Damian would act with their little niece or nephew, plus Jim Gordon would be the best grandpa.
The Future Foundation (as a superhero team) in the comics was a rebranding of the Fantastic Four, after the Human Torch was seemingly killed, with Spider-Man taking his spot on the team, per Johnny's will, as Peter is one of his best friends.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man uses the FF costume as an outfit that Norman Osborn, Spidey's classic archenemy, gives him that's used as a sterile corporate suit, Peter wears before he gets his proper classic costume...
... I hate it here.

so ive been reading the kyle rayner run
All the Robins would’ve either became a vigilante anyway or been a problem Batman has to solve eventually. Dick was determined to find Tony Zucco with or without Batman’s help. Jason would’ve been just another criminal. Tim is the exception, he’s a rich boy who reluctantly became Robin. Damian would’ve been leader of the League of Assassins. Stephanie was a vigilante before becoming Robin. Duke and his friends made a whole crew based around Robin to fight back against corruption in Gotham.
I love how the Ellingboe and Krums in Klaus both take inspiration from different groups. Like the Krums are more English inspired while the Ellingboe‘s are Norse.
now if lorna, pietro and wanda are the maximoffs
and tommy, billy, luna and viv are the minimoffs
that makes their eventual children the micromoffs
and magneto the megamoff
I raise to you "Macromoff" and Erik's parents were the megamoffs
that brings us to the whole family tree

Whenever I hear people say anyone can wear the mask, I always think of this comic
via Into the Knight Podcast #369 (Q&A with writer Jed MacKay)
Jed: I think Marc likes Chicago style pizza, whereas I think Jake likes New York pizza. And I think Steven Grant eats pizza with a fork and knife.
Rebecca: Definitely, he only eats it Italian style.
Jed: Yeah, but it's only like very specifically authentic from a particular region—
Rey: From Italy, he has it flown in.
Jed: Yeah, yeah, exactly. But also for him it's never good enough, like he'll eat it, a new place will have it and he'll eat it with his knife and fork, he'll just kind of put the knife and fork aside and sigh.
