Demons are on my street

I give offerings and walk them in

My skin grows cold

But my blood provides full warmth

Wrap my leaking body in plastic bags

I will be your water bed.”

Put pain deep in to my dermis

Clearing out my insides

Drinking detergent with vermin

Stripped of who I truly am

Like the English did to

My families turbans

Taught I was tainted at birth

Thru a white man’s sermons

I will bite curbs if you need an ottoman
