I like the idea of Morty talking up a storm and Rick just listening
before i gush abt the rick and morty part of this episode, i will say that jerry has had 3 plots (4 if you count the cloud possession in 9.04) focused on him so far this season while beth has had exactly 0. and i think this serial killer plot would’ve been perfect for her! she and summer running errands together, they see the serial killer and summer has her skewed-priorities moment, prompting beth to be like “okay well i know *i* have my empathy issues but idk if i want my daughter to be acting like this.” then she plays along as a fellow serial killer with that guy and she’s like yeah haha just trying to break the glass ceiling in male-dominated fields ^_^ and then SHE eventually freaks the guy out because 1. we know she was a very imaginative child and 2. she’s a horse doctor so she says something really overly descriptive and horrific involving horses. and then yada yada similar ending. the only issue i can see is that she could’ve definitely taken the guy down without anyone’s help but i believe the writers could’ve found a way around that.
