It's really apparent when he stands next to other people :) I want him to lift me up and throw me at the ceiling so my head gets stuck like a cartoon character and then I scream for him to pull me back down but he walks 🚶♂️ away.

I get some complains of Evil morty's behaivor this episode (like, i'm not gonna pretend he is perfect in that ep) but some of it that I see are calling OOC cuz he's not being 100% nonchanlant and I just ???

oh my god (S9E1 Spoilers)
I wasn't a fan of Evil Morty until now but I love what they did with him. Honestly to me this is a much, MUCH more interesting direction for his character!!!
He's smart and apathetic but he's still a Morty: As in he's still a teen. Of course he wants and needs some form of validation and connection!
He doesn't want a boss and he doesn't want a grandpa but he does want someone who respects and understands him. Although by force, he finds that in Rick and gets attached. Then gets mad when he loses his new toy.
Weirdly enough, even Rick treats him as Another (Adult) Person He Fights. To me this episode was the Narrative acknowledging the fact that he's still just a confused, angry boy. I love that! I honestly felt bad for him. I hope we see him again this season :(
He's been dead for a decade and the game's been wiped from existence.
Yet I still can't get over this:
What the hell is that sash? Did he make it himself? Man can create sentient life for fun yet he's wearing macaroni art. Did a Morty make that for him? Actually, that'd have been super wholesome, never mind. He totally made it himself.
You don't even get to battle him. He just stands there while his council-mates are tied up. He's so useless and pathetic I almost feel bad for him.
After some thinking I am now convinced that A Morty made that for A Rick, but NOT for Riq IV.
Instead Riq IV saw it on this random Rick and went, "You're not the best??? I am. You don't deserve that." Then he stole it.
And he wears that thing every single day to work and the other Council members are like, "Man. Take that thing off, it's so fucking ugly." But deep down they're seething with jealousy.
