Brian Killeen and a group of friends were bringing in Valentine’s Day with a night of dancing when things took a dreadful turn for the worst. He quickly began rushing out in a midst of panic. He made it out of the doors with Teresa McDonnel who was one of the many people there with him. While he was catching his breath, Teresa ran back into the fire that had taken over the nightclub in Artane, Dublin, Ireland to get her sister Lorraine McDonnel out safely. While Lorraine would survive, this would be the last time Teresa would ever be seen again. Welcome to our Valentines Day edition here on Coffee Stained. The Stardust was packed on the night of February 13,1981 with over 800 guests in attendance who were all bringing in the most romantic day of the year. Lovers, friends and family gathered for drinks, food and a disco competition. The music was blaring and laughter filled the room. John Molloy, who was one of the many guests in attendance was standing next to the dance floor as two of his friends competed for the prize. They walked up to John afterwards, clearly burning up from being out on the floor... or so they thought. It was at 1:35am when one of Johns friends spotted a smouldering chair.

This Heartbreaking story began in France when Jeanne got married in 1893 to an alcoholic. They lived in Paris and raised three children. In 1905 Jeanne also took to the bottle and became an alcoholic herself. It was this year that 2 of her 3 children had unfortunately died. 
On March 2, 1905 Jeanne was baby sitting her sister in laws two little girls when Georgette died at only 18 months old. The physician who had examined Georgette's body ignored the fact that there were bruises around the child's neck. Due to this there was no further investigation about the incident.

On March 11, Jeanne was invited back to her sister in laws home to babysit her 2 year old daughter Suzanne who ended up passing away due to unexplained convulsions. 


On March 25, her brothers 7 year old daughter choked, which resulted in bruises around her neck. Germaine thankfully survived this incident. However, the next day Jeanne returned to her brother's home to finish the job. Germaine's cause of death was Diphtheria. On March 29, Jeanne son Marcel also passed away from Diphtheria.


On April 5, 1905 Jeanne was caught by her two sister in laws chocking her 10 year old nephew Maurice. Charges were filed and her trial began on January 29, 1906. She was acquitted of all of these crimes on February 6, 1906. Her lawyer had proclaimed that a mother could never commit such a heinous crime. 


On April 7, 1907 Jeanne Weber now know as Madame Moulinet killed a 9 year old boy by the name of Auguste Bavouzet. She again, was not convicted of this crime.
After this she fled to Orgeville and worked under the name of Marie Lemoine at a children's home and had strangled a child within the week of being there.
This crime was covered up by the children's home.


On May 8, 1908 after moving to an Inn she claimed the life of her last victim. 10 year old Marcel Poirot was strangled to death.
On October 25,1908. She was declared insane and charged with 10 murders. Jeanne was sent to the Mareville Asylum.

Since I was a child, I have always been intrigued by the grim and the unexplained. A typical evening or weekend in my home growing up consisted of a ton of different things. Maybe it was my mom calling me into the dining room as she dusted off an old Quija board and lit a few candles in hopes of reaching someone, if it wasn't that it was my dad calling me into the living room to watch a few horror flicks or Unsolved Mysteries before heading to bed a little later than expected. Regardless of which one it was, most weekends our family could be found camping in the middle of nowhere. After a long day of my siblings and I riding our bikes we would retire that evening to the scorching fire to cuddle up and make s'mores, my mom and dad would settle in next to us to tell us tales of ghosts and stories of madness. Little did my parents know that I would grow up only to become more consumed and dig deeper into these types of things.

After taking the lives of his grandparents at the young age of 15, Ed Kemper was released at the age of 21 from Atascadero State Hospital where he was diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic. 
After being released Ed Kemper started his reign of terror by picking up young ladies who were students of Fresno State. He would then drive to secluded areas with his victims and murder them. His murder spree escalated quickly to decapitation, dismemberment and necrophilia.


Before he turned himself in he bashed his mother’s head in with a hammer.


Ed Kemper is currently serving 8 concurrent life sentences in the California Medical Facility.
To all his victims may they Rest In Peace.
