disclaimer: triggering material will be present on this blog and i request that no minors follow me. i know that the rpc can be kinda strict with certain triggers, etc., but personally i'm pretty lax with what i consider "acceptable" to write, in that i largely don't believe that many things are off the table if handled with the proper respect and responsibility. it's a topic that isn't treated with a lot of nuance in the rpc so i figured i'd say straight up that my first priority in my writing is character study rather than escapism and sometimes that leads to discussions of sensitive topics. no one is obligated to interact with me if they find anything uncomfortable here, so if anything i discuss does make you uncomfortable, i do not take offense to blocking. do what you need to do to keep yourself safe.

ABATINA: is there anything in life your muse has changed their mind about over time ( due to becoming more educated on the topic, certain experiences, etc. ) or that they would change their mind about under certain circumstances?

his loyalty to the fatui is always subject to change, as he himself says. his devotion is solely to the tsaritsa due to the level of power she herself exhibits and this is what keeps him aligned with the harbingers, obviously, but he's hinted multiple times at enjoying the idea of joining the traveler instead, etc. his pursuit is in maximizing his own strength and ability, which is partially tied to his fixation on returning to skirk's side and fulfilling her sort of "prophecy" for him. i do think the tsaritsa reminds him of skirk in her power and her coldness and he could be persuaded to stop serving her if something would get him closer to skirk.

in this way, i kind of feel like a redemption arc is inevitable for him, but with all the parallels and connections between him and surtalogi, specifically regarding the relentless pursuit of strength and power, my personal hope is that he'll be drawn in by the foul first. i really like the idea of him having to choose between surtalogi's path of destruction and helping skirk and the traveler defeat him.

ACANTHUS: is your muse deceptive, or willing to lie or deceive to achieve certain means? why or why not?

he's much more based on direct, physical action than lying or manipulation. i really don't think he's any good at lying, which is part of why he was kept in the dark by zhongli and signora in liyue. he generally doesn't "respect" the other harbingers' methods of scheming because he honestly just finds chaos more entertaining. he's loud, brash, and unpredictable.

that being said, as shown in the liyue quest he is able to manipulate to a degree and appear friendly while working towards his own means, but it's generally not really his style. however, i do think he has a generally kind of unnerving vibe to him so even though he doesn't actually lie all that much, he doesn't at all appear trustworthy. he lies by omission more than anything else. he always kinda looks like he's hiding something.

ALOE: how does your muse handle grief?

violently, as he does everything. if someone hurts someone he loves, it's full blind rage. no thinking about it, just moving. to be honest, using his family against him would be extraordinarily easy because he would sacrifice himself for a chance at revenge at anyone who hurt them. he would destroy himself so, so fast.

LOVE AS A FORCE OF NATURE. your love is like whiplash –– it comes in with the rain, it blows the doors wide open. when you fall in love, it is sudden and hard and immense. it is powerful. it is earth-shaking and world-ending. nature is a force, and that force can be destructive if you're not careful. see how the world is doused in gasoline and set on fire –– your love consumes, your love takes, your love burns. you're hot and cold all at once, a hurricane and a wildfire bound together in skin, and when you're in love, it can feel like it's eating you alive from the inside out. when you love, it is with everything you have because it is everything you have. be careful, darling, because not everyone survives the storm.

CHILDE: bottom who thinks he's a top. he likes topping because it makes him feel secure in his masculinity but honestly he much prefers bottoming/not being in control.

GINOZA: versatile, but usually submissive in either role. he doesn't have casual sex so more often the point of it for him is to please his partner and he considers his own pleasure an afterthought.

JUMIN: of course you are a tall powerful businessman who would feel a level of excitement at giving up control in the bedroom. of course. anyways he's a virgin until he meets hana but is probably best described as a submissive top after she breaks down his 100 layers of control issues.

KUROO: switch and versatile. this man can do it all! prefers bottoming if he's being honest. he likes being taken care of even if he has trouble saying it outright.
