YA Book Recommendations for Fanfiction Tropes and Plots
Given fanfiction readers’ love of  stories they should be an ideal audience for readers’ advisory, but where do you start?  How can you reach out to them without learning more than anyone wants to know about their fic reading habits and peculiarities?  Let’s start with some familiar tropes!
Popular pretenses for a fake relationship include family pressure, financial reasons, undercover work, or saving face with an ex with the point being to force the potential couple into close proximity so that feelings can develop or be exposed.
