ROTTMNT VOLLEYBALL AU !!
Setting:
This Au is placed in a world where Mutants/Yokais and Human live in “harmony and peace”. The turtle boys are taken in by Hamato Yoshi, former known as Great Volleyball Star Lou Jitsu. The boys are raised in Japan within the house of Hamato. The life of the turtle is less dangerous but does not execute of the struggle of Mutant lives. The topic of Yokais and Mutants living amongst humans are controversial often many humans discriminating the non human creatures.
Plot:
The Turtles are raised in a lower class life, living in the province within an isolated area from the village nearby. Yoshi is a single father, raising 4 little turtles boys named Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello And Michealangelo, all on his own while he works different jobs to provide for his boys. This leaves the turtles to spend a lot of time without their father leaving, Raphael, the Eldest to watch his younger brothers.
To keep the young turtles busy while their father worked. Yoshi let them watch old tapes and movies he kept. In some of the tapes it contains his days as a Volleyball star Lou Jitsu. The young turtles were amazed by the sport ultimately agreeing that Lou Jitsu is their favorite player. This is where the turtles start their journey to Volleyball.
One day the boys had snuck to the village while Yoshi had told them not to leave home without him. Despite Raphael’s rejections to the idea he ultimately gave in to his younger brother, Leo’s, request. Upon arriving to the village they found a group of children playing volleyball, wanting to join in they asked if they could join the group of human kids. Instead of acceptance they were made fun of and picked on by them. They leave sad and hurt from the discrimination. They sit at the hills sulking tills a little Human girl approached them and asked if they still wanted to play. She introduced herself as April, April O’ Niel. The Turtles were skeptical of her at first but they played ball with her anyway. Soon their relationship with the small girl grew closer and closer the more they snuck off to meet with her. Playing Volleyball gave them joy, although they weren’t good at it, it gave them something to look forward to doing to spend time with each other. But it didn’t last for long.
Soon they grew apart from the sport, getting into school and finding their own interests once they reached middle school. Focusing on their own the brothers grew apart from each other. Leo was still holding on to their childhood memory of their sport. Back when he was a kid he always wanted to be like a Volleyball Player like Lou Jitsu he practiced on his own with what little information he had of the sport since they never really took it that seriously as kids. Leo wanted to be in the Nationals but non human players weren’t allowed as Human vs Yokai/Mutants was an unfair fight. So Leo’s dreams were almost impossible.
During Leo’s Junior year he and his brothers were enrolled in a Human and Yokai/Mutants mixed school, although a bit far was the best school Yoshi could get them into. Upon their enrollment Leo wanted to get into the Volleyball Club but..it was only just for Humans. Leo had a great idea if he wanted to get better at Volleyball he had to make a club for both Mutants, Yokais and Humans. To start their club he has to form a basic team first. Leo tried to convince his brothers in joining in on his idea but they weren’t sure after all the club wouldn’t be officially added to the schools what would be the point in being in a sports team if you aren’t fighting for wins. Till… Leo heard about an Underground Volleyball championship that accepts all races to participate.
Leo yet again tries to convince his brothers to join him in participating in this Championship but they weren’t sure still hesitant in doing so since they barely knew anything about the sport barely even the basics.
Regarding those events this Au follows the story of the Brothers towards being the best Mutant Volleyball players in all of Japan and maybe even the world. Tune in for more my friends!
