I still struggle quite a bit with feeling good or at least ok with myself but I am doing my best every day.

I've come a long way in my mental health journey since I escaped my bullshit old life but I know there are always going to be some parts that stick with me. I think that's ok, it serves as a reminder of how strong I've become in such a short time.

A lot of what would have triggered a panic even a year ago either has no effect on me at all or just is a slight twinge in my chest.

Smells, phrases, old places, tones in a voice, the sound of a man's yelling...

These grips have been loosened and I know how to trust again.

Every day I do my best to be a stronger, confident person who has a backbone but keeps a good heart.

Some days I dont feel very good about myself. Old voices try to make themselves prominent but my inner voice, my higher self, wins most days.
