"HOPE IN THE AIR"
The final animation short I created for my Animation Studies module is called 'Hope in the Air.' It tells the story of a young boy going through the isolation of COVID-19. The story begins with him feeling confused as he hears ambulance sirens and sees healthcare workers testing a neighbor, while news reports remind everyone to stay safe.
The animation shows his daily life during lockdown, marking off days on a calendar and facing the uncertainty that came with it. It reflects the emotions people felt during the pandemic and the joy of finally getting back to normal life style.
This was my first animation project, and it taught me so much. It guided me to learn how to use Krita and, most importantly, helped me start working with After Effects. Itβs been a big part of my creative journey.
Thank you !!!
