Hi! Been awhile since Iβve been in your inbox haha but could I learn a bit about the dagger siblings? Iβve been curious about them for a bit, they all look different from each other and Iβd love to know more about them
Only four of the Dagger siblings are related by blood. Or.... born of the same mortal parent I guess. The rest of the siblings were all born of different mortal parents but they all share an immortal parent named Lunar Eclipse. They also all have an innate connection to chaos magic, something in my universe that was thought to be a myth.
The original four Dagger siblings possess the strongest connection to chaos magic, Vehemence being strongest of all of them. , And the only way to access the powers is through pain. Vehemence is different from the rest as he is able to get stronger by feeding off the souls/pain of his siblings.
He and his twin sister, Behemoth eventually created a cult surrounding this and convinced their two younger brothers that it was their destiny to help Vehemence rise to his full strength so he can fix all that is wrong with the world. Little do they know, not even Behemoth is aware, that his true motive is to be king of the entire world.

Vehemence locked all his siblings in an abandoned building deep in the woods and brutally tortured them for months on end. Behemoth helped frequently but she didn't get a free pass and he tortured her too, though he was less brutal with her since she's probably the only person he's fond of. The most heinous things were done to the other two, Red and Otherworld.
With their connection to chaos magic, Vehemence could heal them from injuries that nobody should be able to come back from. They wouldn't even scar. There were no limitations. And absolutely no morals. If you can think it, Vehemence did it. There were levels to it and as the months went on the worse it got.
Red snapped after Otherworld finally died. It had been another horrible session, Vehemence poisoned Otherworld and hid the antidote inside Red. Red had to disembowel himself to save Otherworld but he was too slow. Vehemence let Otherworld die to punish him. Emotional torture wasn't off the table and since Otherworld was the weakest, Vehemence didn't consider him a loss. When Red came to and found out Otherworld hadn't made it he went ballistic, maiming Behemoth and Vehemence horribly and ran away.
Of course they both survived and Vehemence healed himself and her. But they couldn't find Red no matter how hard they searched. With one brother missing and one dead, all Vehemence had left was Behemoth and she wouldn't be enough. I forgot how they found out they had other magical siblings, maybe Lunar Eclipse told them. There were a lot of them, none of them as strong but enough of them might do the trick. This is when they form the cult, accepting any that would follow and help them track down their "siblings."
