Red

Anton could be stubborn when he decides he doesn't wanna do something. Once his mind is made up, it's pretty hard to change it. He can be lazy at times and often just wants to rest or preserve his energy. He may half ass things he knows need to get done just to get them out of the way instead of putting in effort. He wants shortcuts. If there's an easier or faster way to get something done so he can have more time to relax, he's probably taking it.

He could lie a lot, he might lie so much that he ends up digging himself into even bigger holes than if he had just told the truth in the first place. I don't think he's always the most honest person toward his friends. If you asked him for advice instead of telling you what you need to hear, he may tell you what you want to hear. He's the type to tell you your outfit looks nice knowing you look a hot ass mess because he doesn't want to deal with the discomfort that comes with honesty. He could also lie to sabotage others or manipulate situations to work in his favor. I don't think lying is beneficial for him because it seems to cause him way more harm than good.

He could also be very good at keeping the truth from other people. It's almost like he feels entitled to honesty and reality to the point where he believes he's the one who gets to decide what other people should or shouldn't know. He may withhold information because he thinks it's for the best, because it benefits him, or because he likes having control over the narrative. He may be manipulative in this way.

He could be two faced at times. Very performative, almost like he's playing a role instead of being his authentic self depending on who he's around. He may seek admiration or validation from others and care about how he's perceived. He could come across as extremely confident and like he has everything together, but there may be a lot more insecurity than people realize. If he's feeling low about himself, I could honestly see him dragging the whole room down with him, intentionally or unintentionally. His mood has the potential to influence those around him.

Green

He definitely isn't easily manipulated. He's very strict with his boundaries, and more importantly, he knows exactly where they are. He's not the type to fold under peer pressure or do something just because everyone else is doing it. He doesn't really feel guilty for saying no, and he has no problem putting his own comfort and well being first. If something doesn't align with him, he simply won't do it.

He also doesn't seem to have a strong attachment to worldly possessions. He doesn't require much when it comes to material things, and I actually think he gets bored of them pretty quickly. I could also see him being someone who jumps from interest to interest. Things don't seem to hold his attention forever.

He may expect the people around him to have a similar mindset. He could absolutely be the type to tell you that you don't need to buy something because it's a waste of money or that you're spending just for the sake of spending. I'd say he's probably very good with his own money and could even be good at helping other people manage theirs too. He's practical and doesn't seem overly impressed by expensive things.

He could live a very simple life. A quiet one. He doesn't come across as someone who constantly needs chaos. I think he naturally brings peace wherever he goes. He could be the type of person whose presence makes other people feel calmer and more grounded by his silence. It's kind of like how some people are very expressive and that's what makes other people feel reassured by them. I think Anton is the opposite. When he's quiet other people actually feel more at ease.

Industry (Companies, Staff, Producers, etc)

They are pretty accepting of Katseye. They don't see the concept of having nonKorean or non east asian adjacent idols as a bad thing or a bad idea. Most of them are actually pretty happy this door has been opened. To them, they see a completely new opportunity to make money.

New jobs have opened up for them, new territory, and new opportunities. To them, this is a huge market to tap into. I can see a lot of people being interested in working with groups like Katseye. Some Koreans may even be sick of working strictly within Korea. Some of them might have even started learning English in hopes of working with more international groups.

I also see people like variety show hosts being excited because it gives them new content ideas. Stylists may be excited because they get to explore different fashion and concepts. Overall, I see everyone viewing Katseye as a great opportunity to expand and explore new markets. It's also possible that because the industry is so competitive, if more Western style groups begin appearing, there will be more room for staff to find work.

Boy Groups

They feel like it was only a matter of time before groups like Katseye (Western based groups) started showing up. Like the staff, they also feel their existence is somewhat necessary. I see most boy groups not having many negative thoughts or feelings toward Katseye. Most of them honestly don't even care that much.

They may keep an eye on them, but it doesn't come across as, "I'm watching them because I'm attracted to them" or "I'm curious about them." It's more like, "I'm watching them because they're my colleagues and we exist in the same industry."

Some of them do seem to have a bit of a hierarchy mindset toward Katseye. Almost like they feel Katseye should be grateful to them for helping make Kpop popular enough for companies to even consider creating groups like this. There's a little bit of arrogance coming from some senior male groups.

Others though, just see Katseye as another group that has to sing, dance, and work hard just like everyone else. Overall, the energy is pretty neutral and normal (besides some of those weirdos with the hierarchy mindset).

Girl Groups

Girl groups see Katseye as competition. They see them as new people who could possibly overshadow them or take their position. They don't like the idea of Katseye winning over them, taking their fans, or starting new trends within Kpop.

They know Katseye's vibe, being Western based, is completely different from what's traditionally accepted in Korea, and they don't want the group pushing boundaries to the point where the industry changes drastically. They also don't want Katseye becoming a top girl group (on the level of Blackpink).

Overall, there's just a lot of competitive energy here and a lot of not wanting them to become too successful.

I'm honestly not surprised by this because it is difficult being a woman in this industry (or any industry for that matter.) Please don't take away from this reading that "girls hate each other" or that they want each other to fail. It's very easy to become insecure in a job like this.

I remember Karina saying she wished she were a boy, or that she wanted aespa to have longevity because girl groups don't last as long. Wonhee has also said something along those lines. So it's really not shocking that they would feel threatened by something completely different from what's been done before.

Again, please don't think too harshly of girl groups because of this reading. I genuinely don't think it's their fault if they've been conditioned by the industry to think this way.

James is a creative person who likes to turn his ideas into movement. He can be pretty straightforward with what he wants. His direction in life feels very forward and linear. A simple concept of getting from point A to point Z. Even if he does find himself clouded or overthinking things, it usually doesn't take much for him to find his way back.

I feel like he's someone who will live a long life. He could honestly be the type to reach 100 years of age or at least live much longer than most people.

He also seems like someone who genuinely enjoys relaxing and has a very healthy mindset when it comes to slowing down. He could really be into things like yoga, saunas, ice baths, meditation, incense, frequency music, and mindfulness. He knows how to take his mind off things instead of letting them consume him.

James is always searching for improvement in every aspect of life. He doesn't judge people for their mistakes or flaws. He sees every walk of life as lessons to be learned. He could easily have hour long conversations about life and walk away feeling like he understands so much more simply by listening to someone else's story. He believes a lot of wisdom comes from observing people's experiences rather than feeling like you have to live through everything yourself. If you tell him things about yourself, he’ll definitely remember them. He’s wont look down on you for the things you choose to share. He’ll take those things to heart and understand them as a part of who you are.

James cares deeply about the people who mean the most to him. He seems very family oriented, and I definitely see him as someone who wants to get married and have a family one day. Loyalty also feels like one of his biggest values. He might have some doubts about how he’ll be able to achieve this with the job he has now, but it’s definitely something he wants.

He is very honest with the people around him. He's not the type to present a false version of himself or make someone fall in love with an image he knows isn't real. He won’t hide his flaws or his fears. He feels the parts of himself that aren’t perfect are still him and he will never pretend to be someone he’s not. Even if he strongly wants a connection with someone, he'll still choose honesty over comfort. If a relationship feels misleading or the energy becomes unhealthy, he'd rather address it than pretend everything is okay.

This also tells me he's someone who thinks deeply about himself, the other person, and the situation before deciding how to move forward. He doesn't seem like the type to leave people in the dark with his communication. He'll tell you what he truly believes, even if it's difficult to hear. I think this applies to both romantic and platonic relationships.

James doesn't run away from what needs to be done, and he has no problem walking his own path if that's what feels right.

One thing I could see, though, is him being a little stubborn when it comes to his creative ideas. Once he finds something that works or something he genuinely loves, he may have a hard time letting it go or trying something different. That could sometimes slow his growth or create disagreements with people who have different opinions.

Even though I said earlier that he's someone who constantly seeks growth, he can still have moments where he becomes comfortable. If he falls deeply in love with something, he may spend much longer on it than he probably should.

For example, he seems like the type of person who could fall in love with a specific country and never want to leave, even if work or better opportunities exist somewhere else.

He could also be a pretty good gatekeeper.

Lastly, James could have insecurities about himself, especially when it comes to his personality. He may see himself very differently than how other people see him, or struggle to fully understand the impression he leaves on others. I don't think other people necessarily view him the way he views himself, and there may be moments where he's much harder on himself than anyone else would ever be. He could spend time on the internet reading what people have to say about him. The things they say about his character may sometimes make him question his own intentions. He could feel like people often misunderstand his behavior or assume the worst without really knowing where he’s coming from.

Keonho

He looks for people who give just as much as they receive. His love language could be gift giving, but I also think he really likes receiving gifts too. He'd probably appreciate the type of friend who randomly buys him food when they go out or picks up little things for him without him having to ask. It's like, "I got you, don't worry about the cost.", "You're my friend and I enjoy being around you, so spending money is no problem." It's not one sided. I think he'd happily do the same for his friends as well. He just never wants to be in a friendship where it constantly feels like he has to pay people back or keep track of who spent more. He wants generosity to come naturally.

He may like friends who are social but still loyal. The type of person who knows a lot of people but only has a few genuinely close friends. Someone who's well known and generally liked, but keeps their real circle small. I could even see him liking people with a decent social media following like a TikToker, gamer, or Instagram model, but they still have this mysterious aura around them. (The typa person to have #asian #09 in their caption 💀). Reminds me of this guy who I think is friends with seonghyeon.

He could also like people who have a little edge to them. Not offensive or anything, just people with an edgy sense of humor. Friends who swear, make dirty jokes, and don't take everything so seriously. They aren't super strict about how people should act and are just fun to be around.

He could be drawn to people with longer features too. Long hair, long nails, tall people, taller noses.

I also feel like he'd be really interested in having foreign friends, or at least friends who are open minded about different cultures and people. He might have a strong desire for a diverse friend group. Theres rebellious feeling to hanging out with people who aren't Korean or East Asian in general. Black, white, Southeast Asian, Latino, but I'm feeling Black friends especially. I think he finds foreigners cool and feels like they have a different type of swag and energy.

He wants friends that complement him not just visually but verbally too. He wants to stand next to his friends and feel like they all look cool together. People with good fashion, aesthetics, and hobbies.

But he also wants verbal reassurance. Friends who aren't afraid to tell him he looks good regardless of gender. Friends who genuinely enjoy his group's work and hype him up. The type to tell him he's improving and his talent shines brighter each day. I honestly think he likes hearing positive things about himself. He could be someone who seeks validation from his friends and wants reassurance about how they feel toward him. Maybe a little needy in that sense.

Seonghyeon

He could be pretty open and comfortable having female friends. (Or at least wants to try having some)

I think he likes people with motion. people who've actually found success in whatever they're doing. Friends who understand how the world works and know how to achieve their goals.

He may also like being around attractive people, whether they're girls or boys. I'm sensing something really strong about scents too, so I definitely think he likes people who smell good. Overall, I think he appreciates friends who are clean and take care of themselves.

He could subconsciously gravitate toward people who either look similar to him or have features he wishes he had.

I also think he likes older people. Maybe he wants friends around 18 or 19. He could be the type to see younger people as immature (even if he can be like that himself sometimes) and find older people more admirable or cool.

He wants well rounded friends. People who can joke around and be completely unserious, but also know when it's time to lock in. I think he'd admire someone who works really hard while still maintaining a healthy work life balance.

Like someone you'd assume is constantly grinding because they've achieved a lot or seem successful, but once you actually get to know them they're lowkey lazy sometimes, and always joking around. The type of person who goes to an Ivy League school but constantly complains about school and procrastinates all their assignments. they always make it work though.

He may also like people who've gone through hardships and came out with a lot more wisdom and life experience because of it. I don't think he'd be interested in someone who's never really struggled or had everything handed to them. It falls back into that older energy again. I think he'd want a friend he can vent to, someone who either genuinely relates to what he's going through or has enough empathy and life experience to understand him.

He could also prefer people who are a little more closed off and don't have huge social circles. More introverted friends.

I think he'd enjoy people who have a unique way of speaking. Sarcastic, witty, playful maybe they lightly tease people.

Sangwon

Sangwon is really happy with the final lineup, and he feels good knowing he’s the center/face of the group. He feels very beautiful right now, like everything has been and is working out in his favor. There’s a strong sense of individual success. He’s more focused on his personal image than the group. He feels like he’ll be bigger than the group and receive the most benefits and opportunities. (The wonyoung of ive) There’s a lot of pride here, almost like he sees the group could fall into “Sangwon and friends.” He thinks the lineup will work well as long as he avoids conflict, stays focused on himself, and builds his fanbase.

Geonwoo

(Reading this after the news of Geonwoo’s hiatus, so it makes sense everything here feels heavy.)

Geonwoo feels very alone, like he has to hide but can’t. He feels like his cards were dealt badly and that debuting might’ve been a mistake. “If only this didn’t happen” could be running through his head, like he’s replaying everything wishing it went differently. He doesn’t even feel like he’s truly experienced the group yet, and already he’s being pushed back. His energy feels really unlucky, like everything is just unfortunate timing and circumstance. He’s feeling the weight of cause and effect hard right now.

How he feels about the hiatus:

He feels like his talent is being wasted, and there’s a strong sense of feeling trapped.

Sanghyeon

He feels incredibly proud to have debuted. There’s a lot of gratitude toward his parents and the people who supported him. It feels like he really wants to prove that all that support wasn’t for nothing. He wants his family and peers to watch closely and see how much he’s shining. There’s also a cute energy here, he might’ve had a crush on someone and really wants them to see him now. He’s not bitter he just wants them to think “wow, he’s so cool.”

He might feel a little indifferent about the lineup though. There could be a few members he would’ve swapped out, or maybe he wished at least one close friend or someone his age made it in.

Xinglong

He’s happy that Boys Planet is finally over, but he knows being an idol is just as challenging. It feels like he may have received advice from an older male figure about what’s coming next. He really wants to succeed here, but in the process he might be unintentionally isolating himself. Not physically, but mentally. Like he feels a pressure that he believes no one else understands.

But he still sees the group as something that could become a home. He’s content with the final lineup and has faith in the journey ahead.

Anxin

Anxin feels really giddy about the lineup. His energy is very childlike, adventurous, and excited. He’s genuinely so happy to be in the group and to see everyone together. But there’s a risk of burnout. His energy feels fast, intense, and almost rushed. Like he’s pouring everything out at once. He’ll need to learn how to pace himself and spread that energy out so he doesn’t run out too quickly.

Leo

Leo is happy to have debuted and is overwhelmingly grateful for all the support he’s receiving. Trust none of the love people give him goes unnoticed. He’s deeply appreciative of his fans and the people close to him who believed in him.

It feels like he’s receiving some of the most positive influence out of everyone. He’s someone the industry respects, there’s support behind the scenes from producers and other artists. At the same time, he might struggle with feeling undeserving or not fully knowing how to express his gratitude. He may not always see just how loved he is. This is getting too deep so I’m going to shift my focus back to the group and lineup.

Within the group, he’s not someone who starts or holds onto conflict. If anything, he helps calm situations down. He’s content with the lineup, respects his members, and is willing to work with them.

Junseo

He might be receiving a lot more attention, love offers, flirtatious energy that he didn’t get before debut, and he’s definitely enjoying it. He also seems to enjoy being around female idols. There’s a sense that he likes the idea of fame more than the actual music side of things.

He’ll still work hard, but mainly because it gives him access into spaces, opportunities, and recognition. His energy toward the group feels a bit lackluster, he doesn’t dislikes them, his focus is more on fame. He’s also more anxious about things like popularity and scandals. He wants the group to succeed so he can be at the top with it.

Arno

He cares a lot about his appearance. He seems like someone who’s really into skincare, haircare, being well groomed, and fashion expression. He enjoys being pampered and doesn’t mind attention. But if he’s ever caught looking less put together than he’d like, he might take it hard. When it comes to the lineup, his energy feels very secretive. He doesn’t want to show me how he truly feels. He moves quietly and keeps things to himself.
