So you know how Marlin is bigger than Coral?

Well that's really strange cause usually it's the females who are big and the males who are small.

Well what if Mar was a female who didn't like being a female. When he met Coral, he figures out that Coral doesn't like being a male and wants to be a female. So they both decide to change their names and they both switch roles. While they can't change their size(cause that stuff is irreversible), they call each other by their real names and proper pronouns.

Not only would this fulfill Albert's wish to mention at one point that Mar is a hermaphrodite but it could also be some good trans representation.
