“Dory? Is that you?” He asked, peaking his head out of his anemone home. Immediately, Marlin’s guard went up. This wasn’t the first time Dory’s come to them in the middle of the night, but this seemed different. “What are you doing out so late? Did something happen??”

Hey, Marlin. How is your relationship with your son after finding him?
“I think it’s been a lot better, if you ask me. He’s been growing faster than ever! I don’t think I’ve ever been so proud.” Though, he sighs. “I still worry about him though. He’s my son, yknow? I’m not always going to be here to protect him, but I think he knows that.”

The clownfish dabbed at his eyes. “If I could I hug you, I would too. Even if you’re a human.”

Marlin stands there, a mixed reaction on his face. “With the experience I’ve through the years, I’m sure humans have good intentions, but I don’t know if I could. Even when humans dedicate themselves to saving fish, there’s still a chance they can hurt us.”
He sighed. “I think it’s better I stay away. I hope you understand.”
