There's a lot of Regular Clownflies, so you'll sometimes see interactions between just them, but there are a few different Unique Clownflies too! For some reason, the lore is kinda deep.

What the future holds

A group of Invaders planned to fight back against the others... so they abducted a human too. With their technology, they were able to give some some of Grandion, Divine of Genesis's power, which they wanted him to use to build an army and fight against the Invaders. But they, uh... were too slow.

By the time they were done teaching the guy everything he needed to know, the other Invaders had already left, along with 90% of humanity. So, they came up with a NEW plan: THEY would go rescue humanity, and this dude would stay behind and use his new powers to keep the world running and prepare for their return.

So, Dragonfly was left pretty much by his lonesome. The remaining 10% was scattered in smaller communities all over Earth, having been just lucky enough to evade the Invaders' notice. The area Dragonfly lived in had been gone through after he had been taken in, so everyone he knew was gone.

Luckily for him, he wasn't alone for long.

Originally, Dragonfly intended to create an exact replica of himself, since he figured that would be easiest. However, since he was still getting used to his new power, he messed it up a bit, and thus, Clonefly was born. Dragonfly decided that was good enough. With a few small improvements, he was able to create the Clownfly species, and they've slowly but surely spread.

It's been some time since the Invaders came. Other Aliens came, the Divines started to have a presence on Earth, and all sorts of wacky adventures have occured, but, despite Cosmiclown's best efforts, there's been no sign of the original Invaders and the missing 90% of humanity.

...to put it simply, she's Dragonfly's imaginary girlfriend. A "mischievous but sweet Kitsune Girl". Look, the dude was single even before 90% of humanity was abducted, you really can't blame him for feeling lonely romantically.

As Dragonfly's imaginary girlfriend, all the Clownflies know about her as well. Some feel the same about her, some don't, it varies from Clownfly to Clownfly. What NONE of the Clownflies expected, however, was to see her walking around one day.

Mocha, exactly as she had been imagined, was just wandering around, looking for Dragonfly and doing her thing. At first, some were wondering if she was somehow a Unique Clownfly, but the truth came out not long after she and Dragonfly finally met.

She's a Shapeshifter.

Somehow, an Alien Shapeshifter had learned about Mocha (most likely from a Clownfly), and decided to become her. Not take on her appearance, but actually BECOME her. Some wonder if she has some ulterior motive, but right now, she just seems to want to get closer with Dragonfly (whether she intends to act on the Girlfriend part is a mystery), and she spends her days interacting with the "Little Dragons," as she calls Clownflies.

Shapeshifters are able to manipulate their bodies at will, reshaping and altering them to take on any appearance they want. They can get bigger or smaller by expanding or condensing their mass, but only to a certain point. Naturally, being able to reshape one's body would be very painful as different parts are torn apart and forced together, but the Shapeshifters are incapable of feeling pain as a result. This does lead to them thinking damage to their bodies is the result of accidental shifting, but minor damage doesn't really matter, as they can just fix it.

Part of their control over their body includes their body temperature. They're able to raise and lower their body temperatures to extreme levels, even affecting the temperature around them. In doing so, they can burst into flames or freeze entire areas. They can only go so high or low before permanent damage starts being done, though.

At the moment, there are three Shapeshifters on Earth. The first in Sus Clownfly, who was the very first alien to arrive on Earth after the Invaders left. While on his way to Earth, he wanted to blend in, so he connected to the Internet to do research. This, however, led to him seeing a meme of an Amongus edited to have a Clownfly face and hair, so that's the appearance he took. Despite being very obvious, he insists he is a real Clownfly. When he lets loose, he can be dangerous due to his inability to feel pain. So, Clonefly developed a Voting App, which, when enough of one person is voted for, they're launched far away by a hidden spring. This is pretty much the only way to deal with Sus Clownfly. However, one day, after being launched for what felt like the thousandth time, he finally snapped. He froze over an entire abandoned mall, making it the perfect hiding place for other aliens, and even almost killed Clownflu when he passed through! Now, Sus Clownfly still pretends to be a Clownfly, but he's a bit more unstable.

Another Shapeshifter wandering around is Clowncar, who, for some reason, took on the appearance of a car with a Clownfly face and hair. He knows all the secrets. Every. Single. One. He won't outright tell them often, but he will direct people to help find them.

The third Shapeshifter is Mocha.

Lograth, Divine of Power: A giant, three-eyed, yellow space snake. Lograth is able to absorb and expend energy of any kind, and the more energy he has stored, the longer his body becomes. Also, that second part is a lie. While it looks like he has three eyes, he actually has three eye sockets, but one giant eye with three pupils. He can literally peel his face back to reveal the eye and expend large amounts of energy. His ultimate goal is to acquire as much power as possible.

Dovel, Divine of Tranquility: A strange, blue, segmented creature, made up of several floating parts: An obelisk- like torso, two claw-like hands, an orb with one eye, and three separate eyes. She can manipulate the laws of the universe to transform and rewrite things, which is how she gave Cosmiclown powers, and transformed a certain someone else... Her ultimate goal is to create a perfect, peaceful galaxy, one where she can meditate in peace.

Magliss, Divine of Spirit: A strange, slightly humanoid entity, looking like a square silhouette of a man wearing a gaucho hat, but lime green. He can physically interact with souls, and can freely travel back and forth between the living world and the afterlives. His ultimate goal was to abandon his physical body and become a soul himself, which he has accomplished.

Grandion, Divine of Genesis: An unusual creature with a combination of beastly, angelic, and mechanical features. She's able to manipulate and seemingly create matter to create whatever she wants. It's unknown what her goal is, or if she even has one.

A massive, seemingly infinite space, with countless cages dangling from a ceiling. If there's a floor, it's too far away to be seen from the cages. When a Clownfly dies, they appear in one of these cages, seemingly forever asleep. It's unknown if these are the souls of the Clownflies or the Clownflies themselves.

Shapeshifters: Aliens with the ability to reshape their bodies however they want. They'll be covered more in their own section.

Starved Snatcher: A very hungry alien that chases enemies, draining their energy when it touches them.

Psychotic Screecher: A freaky alien that stands in one place and screams. The closer you get, the more distorted your vision becomes.

Rush-Rush: A bull-like alien that charges at anything that moves, even each other.

Inverted Chaser: A creepy alien that chases enemies around. It takes damage over time, and attacking it heals it.

A Lost One: A sobbing alien that starts following someone when it sees them. Bring it to another Lost One to get rid of it. If they take too long, it'll become enraged and attack them.

Abducting Invader: An alien in a flying saucer that flies above enemies and attempts to steal stuff from them via abduction.

Clownflu: The Evil Clone! As the second ever Unique Clownfly, he's been around a long time. He does Weekly Evil Plots to keep the Clownflies occupied, but he's pretty chill outside those. He even has Game Nights with the Clownflies on Tuesdays. Something's been up with him lately, though. He's upgraded his gun to be more lethal, and when he gets tired, he seems... different.

Clonefly: The First Replica! Although all Clownflies are technically "imperfect" as they aren't perfect replicas of Dragonfly, Clonefly is even more imperfect, having horrible eyesight and being a bit more timid than other Clownflies. He tries his gosh diddly darn best to make up for his imperfections, though. He knows some pretty decent first-aid, and he developed the app that's used to deal with Sus Clownfly.

Witchfly: The Servant of Lograth! He thinks Lograth is really cool, so he devoted his life to him in exchange for magic. He insists he's not evil, just crazy.

Clownfairy: The King of the Fairies! He's really sweet, and loves glitter! He even has glitter magic. He's also one of the few Clownflies that can fly. Unfortunately, he often bullied by Witchfly... but that HAS led him to develop the extremely powerful Glitter Bomb.

Cosmiclown: When Lograth started causing trouble on Earth, Dovel, the Divine of Tranquility, took notice, gave a Clownfly power to fight him. Lograth may be powerful, but a combination of him being trapped in a Clownfly's body and Dovel's power being a direct counter to his makes Cosmiclown the perfect opponent. When he's not fighting Lograth, Cosmiclown spends his time helping others, fighting other threats, and searching the missing 90% of humanity.

Bald Clownfly: A Clownfly that is bald. His fury over being bald is so great, even Lograth fears him.

Clownfly.EXE: A Clownfly that, to be honest, is trying way too hard to be creepy. He wears contacts with black sclera and red pupils, face paint that makes it look like the black is leaking, fake sharp teeth, and claws. He's actually kinda wimpy. He did start the Evil Clownflies Club, though, which consists of him, Clownflu, and Sus Clownfly.

The Whole Circus: A Clownfly that's actually a clown?! Incredible! He constantly hears honking, and it keeps him awake at night, so he's always tired.

Sus Clownfly: Definitely a Clownfly and not an alien shapeshifter that saw a meme of an Amongus with a Clownfly face and hair and thought it was what Clownflies actually looked like. He'll be talked about a bit more when discussing Shapeshifters.

Clowncar: An alien shapeshifter that took on the appearance of a car with a Clownfly face and hair. He knows all the secrets. Every. Single. One. He'll be talked about a bit more when discussing Shapeshifters.

Piratefly: A Clownfly that (somehow) found a pirate ship and decided to sail the seven seas! He loves treasure and shiny stuff, and is even willing to trade goods and services for it.

Spamfly: EV3RY BUDDY 'S FAVORITE [[Number 1 Rated Salesman1997]]! A weird little Clownfly that tries to scam others. He seems to be plotting something big, and is looking for a certain robot to accomplish this...

The Dead Clownflies: Majin Clownfly, Anti-Cringe Clownfly, and Animatronic Clownfly. Majin Clownfly binged every single Sonic game, including the spinoffs, to 100% completion, with no breaks. Unlike Pixelfly, the blue light from the screen distorted his skin, turning it blue and drying it out. This also killed him. There once was a Clownfly who became obsessed with guns and collecting them. He even got surgery to replace his eyes with guns! This killed him. Clownflu built a robot Clownfly to help with a Weekly Evil Plot. It stuck around for a while after that, creeping around an abandoned pizza place, but was eventually torn apart by Bald Clownfly. These three Clownflies are now in the Clownfly Afterlife... or, at least, they were. Animatronic Clownfly somehow went missing...

Perfect Clownfly:

Magic now affects all sorts of stuff, making floating islands, enchanted relics, etc. Here's a little list of the various magical entities that exist in the world of Clownflies now! Not counting Clownflies with magic.

Watcher: A creepy floating eyeball that constantly stares at the stuff. If it stares at someone for long enough, their body freezes up for a bit.

Warped Wizard: A freaky wizard that teleports around, flinging electricity.

Angry Spirit: A wrathful spirit that can pass through solid surfaces. If what it considers an enemy gets too close, it will dash at them at a high speed.

Snake Familiar: A snake summoned by a wizard. Its bite attack is venomous.

Trickster: A jolly wizard that messes with people's minds, making it difficult for them to control their own movements.

Tracker Turret: A simple automated Turret that shoots at enemies who get too close.

Sniper Turret: A modified version of the Tracker Turret that has a longer reload time, but larger range.

Rapid Turret: A modified version of the Tracker Turret that has a smaller range, but shorter reload time.

Trapper Turret: A small device that hides underground and stuns enemies that step on it with an electric shock.

Tosser Turret: Similar to the Trapper Turret, but it doesn't hide, and instead launches enemies who get too close.

Sneaky Turret: A Tracker Turret that hides in bushes and such, popping out to shoot when an enemy is in range.

Flu Bot: A simple, round robot, designed to help Clownflu with small tasks and take on weaker enemies.

Bomb Bot: Basically a bomb with legs.

Brawl Bot: A tough robot with very large fists, designed to pull enemies into a flurryof punches. The only robot Clownflu regrets creating, as they often target him too.

Diver Drone: A flying Bot that dives spike-first to attack.

Snatcher Drone: A flying Bot that picks up enemies and slams them into the ground.

Mini-Mech: Clownflu's second-greatest creation! A small robot piloting a large Mech. The Mech can fire its rocket fists and do a stomp attack. It was designed so if either the robot or the mech was destroyed, it could easily be replaced with another, but unfortunately, destroying one often destroys the other. Clownflies are the perfect size to pilot the Mech itself.

Clownflu's Giant Robot: Clownflu's greatest creation... basically a giant version of the Flu Bot. A big black ball with flexible arms and legs, a pack, and a glass done on top containing the cockpit. The pack on its back can contain and fire different bots, and everything can retract into the ball to enter roll mode. It even has an autopilot!

Clownflu's Factory: Clownflu upgraded a section of his factory for a Weekly Evil Plot, equipping it with weaponry and bot spawners for a really darn cool boss battle.

The Shapeshifters: Sus Clownfly and Clowncar are both alien Shapeshifters. Sus Clownfly pretends to be an actual Clownfly (even though he barely looks like one), qnd Clowncar... just kinda does his own thing. These two will be talked more about when talking about Shapeshifters specifically, aw there's some interesting stuff about them.

Animatronic Clownfly: A creepy robot Clownfly built by Clownflu for a Weekly Evil Plot. Its current status is a mystery, as it was supposedly torn to pieces by Bald Clownfly, but there's been sightings of Spamfly carrying it around.

Clowntree: A tree animated by magic that looks like a Clownfly. He's a reverse vegetarian.

Flamefly, Frostfly, Angelfly and Devilfly: A pair of elemental creatures, and a pair representing purity and corruption. Whether these guys are actually considered Clownflies is still being debated, as they were created by Grandion, Divine of Genesis, not a Clownfly, but it's her power that lets Clownflies be created in the first place.

When he would sneeze too hard, Dragonfly would split into the Parts of Clownfly (although one of them was controlled by Lograth). The first couple of times this happened, they used magic sacrifices to put themselves back together, but this came at the cost of Vio and Rang. They later learned they could re-fuse just by sitting on each others' shoulders, but the damage was done. As it turns out, losing the physical manifestations of your personality can change your personality, and Dragonfly has never really been the same.

Eventually, Lograth attempted to regain a physical form, but in his rush, accidentally split his power between himself and the Parts of Clownfly, giving them their own physical forms too, and keeping him trapped in the body of Low. The two Parts that had been sacrificed were given physical forms too, so maybe, just maybe, those parts of Dragonfly's personality are still there, deep inside him.

There are six Parts of Clownfly, each with their own power thanks to the power shared by Lograth, which can be activated with Chaos Points. Each of them can also temporarily Evolve, becoming stronger and enhancing their powers.

Redd is the sane and irritable side of Clownfly, and kind of the ringleader of the group. He's not nearly as crazy as the other Clownflies, and sometimes finds himself getting annoyed by their antics. He can gain Chaos Points by observing chaos, and can spend them to create melee weapons. His Evolved form, Alpha Redd, clads him in armor and massively powers up his punches.

Garen is the fun-loving and wild side of Clownfly, and the antithesis of Redd. He's probably the craziest Clownfly you'll meet, in both actions and logic. He can gain Chaos Points by causing chaos, and can spend them to summon ranged weapons. His Evolved form, Wild Garen, gives him some camouflage and a sniper rifle that can fire lasers.

Blu is the cool and quiet side of Clownfly, and everyone agrees he's literally coolness incarnate. He's chill, helpful, has some sick shades, and has every reason to be narcissistic, but he isn't. He gains Chaos Points by doing cool stuff, and can use them to generate an aura that Stuns enemies. His Evolved form, Epik Blu, gives him a cape, a crown, and an absolutely SICK katana.

Vio is the kind and germophobic side of Clownfly, and one of the two that was sacrificed (though she's back now that she has her own body). Being the literal manifestation of kindness, she's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet... except when it comes to germs. She's a MAJOR germophobe, and even wears a plague doctor mask. She earns Chaos Points by cleaning, and can spend them to heal others. Her Evolved form, Nurse Vio, gives her a purple nurse cap and long robes, and her healing increases tenfold. Also, yes, Vio is the only female Clownfly, for some reason.

Rang is the creative and lazy side of Clownfly, and shares a fate with Vio. He LOVES to sleep, but he also likes creating various arts. He earns Chaos Points by sleeping, and can spend them to make things pretty. This may not seem like a useful power, but making things pretty includes repairing and even upgrading them. His Evolved form, Model Rang, gives him a superstar look (including nice shades), and he finds himself with a lot more energy.

How Clownflies have become Unique later varies pretty wildly. Some gain powers, some transform, and some just decide to look and act different. Just looking different does not make a Clownfly Unique, as some like to wear pots for helmets, or sun visors, or backpacks. What the exact criteria for turning Unique is unknown, but it seems that a Clownfly has to have at least two of the three changes (appearance, personality, or powers). Some good examples of Clownflies that became Unique later are Witchfly, Gentlefly, and Clownfairy. Witchfly thought Lograth, Divine of Power, was really cool, and, uh... dedicated his life to him in exchange for magic powers. Yes, he's crazy. Gentlefly raided an expensive clothes store and got some fancy clothes, and decided to make fanciness his whole personality. Clownfairy is a fairy. Apparently.
