I’ve seen this comic panel before, but was anyone gonna tell me that the guy Jameson was defending was Hobie Brown?
Or that Hobie Brown was 616’s original Prowler?!

Pop Quiz: Which of these villains debuted latest in “The Amazing Spider-Man” (1963-1998)?
Kraven the Hunter
Electro
Chameleon
Rhino
Green Goblin
Doctor Octopus
Mysterio
Vulture
J. Jonah Jameson
Results are in, congrats to 18.2%, Rhino was the correct answer, appearing in issue #41
If you’re curious, both J. Jonah Jameson and the Chameleon were featured in The Amazing Spider-Man issue #1, JJJ appearing just a few pages before Chameleon
So to ~27% of voters, you get an F- for getting it the most wrong

You have a sword and THAT'S IT! NOTHING ELSE! Do NOT try and find a moral in this! You WILL be removed from the game group!!

Living in the south is crazy. I just saw a commercial for some local election candidate who was like “I know what’s it’s like to survive and do anything for money: shoe shining, hocking newspapers, ticket scalping, flea markets…” and it’s like ‘hold up, isn’t that literally a crime?’
Like I understand that statute of limitations have probably run out on it, but could you imagine a campaign ad that was like “I know how to be tough on crime, I used to be a mob enforcer!”

Centaurs reproduce through mitosis, with the human and horse halves separating and regenerating into 2 different centaurs.
Humans were the product of centaur mitosis going wrong. That’s why humans need two to reproduce, we’re only half of what we originally were.

Just finished reading The Amazing Spider-Man #38, and met what is probably one of the least known villains in the roster.
Joe Smith was once a mild mannered man with dreams to become a champion boxer. The only problem was that he sucked at boxing, so instead he decided to become champion wrestler, but he sucked at wrestling.
Then, one day, his manager gets him a gig as the monster in an upcoming sci-fi film.
However, while filming a scene, he knocks over a light into some chemicals and comic book science ensues.
After awaking, he loses control, going berserk and gaining super strength. Of course, Spidey comes in to stop him.
The day is eventually saved when the chemicals wear off, letting Joe Smith return to normal, and even get signed on with the studio for his realistic fighting. It’s actually kind of a sweet ending.
I’ve been playing through the whole Resident Evil series recently, and one interesting change they made in the Resident Evil 3 remake is when everything takes place.
In the original, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, the game takes place shortly after Leon and Claire’s begins. We know this primarily because when Jill reaches the RPD, Marvin is already zombified and re-dead courtesy of Leon.
However, in the remake, most of Jill’s Storyline begins before Leon even makes it to the RPD.
This was probably to fix some timeline issues as Jill’s story takes place over a much longer time period, and Raccoon City gets nuked almost immediately following Leon’s story, but it’s still an interesting change.

vampires but instead of two fangs made of their canines or lateral incisors, they just have one huge fang in the middle
I’m afraid these already exist, they are called mosquitoes
For the past few days I've been thinking about how Caine drinks..
He absorbs it into his chest, glass and all
Forgot to post about the most nonchalant first appearance of Norman Osborn in The Amazing Spider-Man #38
Later in the issue he full-on kills a guy, but before that he’s just an angry businessman who’s constantly belittling his son (as he should, the little know-it-all)
What is with these dumb silly poses he hits why does he move like that what
No but really, I love whenever Caine gestures like this, he moves so smoothly and cartoonishly and his animation is so good so cool so perfect and he's so perfect
I was reading a 1965 issue of Amazing Spider-Man today. It was about a meteor that falls to earth,
After not getting any funding for his research, he decides to crack open the bad boy himself to see whatever life form might be inside
But GASP! Something comes out of the meteor, latching onto the would-be scientist!
When he comes to, he finds that the meteor has given him superpowers such as super strength and durability
Say hello to:
The Looter!
No, not Venom, he wouldn’t debut for another 20 years. I always love seeing the two-bit supervillains that never stuck around in earlier comics.
