i need the baseline of the world’s general social niceness/neutrality to raise just a hair so the most annoying and exhaustive people in my various environments don’t cling to me like a piece of driftwood in the ocean because i am just the slightest bit cordial and don’t treat their nerve-pricking nature as a moral failing.
