The letter Nott and Jester sent the the Academy was signed 'Miss Lavore Esq..’ While it was a bad idea to attach any real name to that piece of spam mail, Jester was a secret child, so it's likely the only ‘Miss Lavorre’ the Academy could find would be Jester's mom, Marion Lavorre. Then, to make the letter ~fancy~ and official, it was scented with Jester's lavender perfume… y'know, the signature lavender perfume of the one Ruby of the Sea. And when leaving Zedash for the Coast, Jester let the Pillow Trove know that any mail for 'Miss Lavorre Esq.’ was to be forwarded to, as Laura said, “the Menagerie Coast by way of Nicodronas… and my mom's place.” So any response the letter that looks and smells like the Ruby wrote it is to be sent directly to her doorstep at the Lavish Chateau.
