a few years ago i saw an "appreciation post" that went something like "femmes do XYZ for us they tend for us they make our lemonade after we work on the car they make a comfortable home for us" and well. it feels mean to say this cuz saying that all butchfemme is heterosexual is stupid and it pisses me off, but (as someone who counts as butch i guess) i thought it was kinda stupid that their way to appreciate someone was for what they did for them and idk it just felt like they were trying to shoehorn butchfemme to this weird idealized 50s americana heterosexual marriage thing. this happened too long ago to matter just idk. thoughts.
