the showrunners decided to remove all moments of katara showing any form of affection towards aang and turned aang into a jerk - just to push z//tara slop.

they've removed katara blushing in the cave of two lovers, katara hugging aang out of the AS in the desert, katara's "for the people who love you" speech in the avatar state, etc.

they made sure to include aang's crush though! just so they can fulfill their headcanons of kataang endgame because "katara felt bad for childish evil aang."
