I just found out that the "coanda effect" fanfic is no longer available to read on ao3. I started reading it during some free time, meaning I was able to fully focus on it, and I absolutely loved it. I didn't manage to finish it, but the chapters I did read got me hooked: the plot, the way the story unfolded, the characters, everything about it. now that I have some free time again, I decided to reread and finish it, only to discover it’s gone from ao3. I’m mourning it

due to certain events that have come to light, I will stop following and commenting on heated rivalry here. nothing is above my morals, so I don't feel comfortable continuing to comment on it, even though I initially really liked the series and commented on it quite a bit
It's kind of sad that everyone involved in making this series happen, and the author of the book, has to deal with these negative repercussions because of the actions of an actor involved in the project
personally speaking, these things kind of destroyed heated rivalry for me. I really liked the series, but I was already getting bothered by certain things, and for me, this was the last straw
one thing that happens to me is that when an actor or whoever made the series does something problematic and I find out about it through social media, I can't even watch it anymore; it's forever tarnished for me. to have such a negative impact on an lgbtqia+ series because of the actions of one actor is sad, especially during pride month
okay but with the release of the vampire lestat I already want a bunch of fanfics with the dynamic between lestat and the band
something I have to admit I'm already expecting a lot from lestat's interactions with the band. the way larry seems completely intrigued by lestat at all times, with them initially not knowing he was a real vampire, and at the end of the episode when lestat runs away, was it just me who felt he didn't want them to find out? the way he looked at them and then ran away

not all ships are For wanting them to be in a happy healthy relationship together. sometimes shipping two characters means you want them to be erotically obsessed with each other and become entwined in a mutually toxic love affair for a few months and then horrifically break each other's hearts and never speak again. sometimes you want them to be codependent best friends with enough repression to explode a submarine who only make out/have sex when they're at their worst. sometimes you want them to pine after each other for years, never say anything, and then die. sometimes you want them to kill each other. this, too, is shipping
I love when I watch media and enjoy it
and when shen qiao went to save yan wushi when everyone joined together to kill him even though he had betrayed him before
I enjoyed watching thousand autumns; I thought it was very good, although I think they could have delved deeper into the plot. the storyline itself, especially all the scenes with shen qiao and yan wushi, was very good.
I can't quite explain why, but I liked how they saved and protected each other. right at the beginning, shen qiao is affected by the poison, so despite being strong, he is saved by yan wushi because of it. and yan wushi, despite being very strong, also needed to be saved by shen qiao.
In that scene, everyone had to fight together against yan wushi, who was already affected, in an attempt to defeat him, and shen qiao finds out and, despite being betrayed, goes after him to save him. I liked how mutual it was.

I just finished watching avatar: fire and ash and I have to admit that both the scene with lo'ak and the gun and jake with spider were a shock I wasn't expecting
when they were discussing killing spider, I really didn't imagine it would get to the point where he himself would find out about it. at first, I imagined that neytire and jake would argue about it amongst themselves, and when he asked spider to follow him, I imagined jake would try to kill spider from behind and then, at the last moment, give up, but try to make sure spider didn't notice, so spider wouldn't know. but it happened in a worse way than I imagined
then there's the scene with lo'ak and the gun. I really didn't expect that at all; the possibility of it happening never crossed my mind, not even when he had the gun in his hand without showing what he intended to do with it. I only realized it at that exact moment
