Olexa is a proud little Morkie (maltese yorkie mix). I’ve had dogs since I was 2 y.o. On the first day of my senior year in H.S, my very first baby, Mars, passed away at 14 y.o. He had a good life but I was devastated. I loved my dogs so much already but the passing of Mars got me closer to my other dog, Olga. Olga passed away of cancer 6 months later at 12 y.o. I was so so destroyed inside. I lost my two bestest friends within 6 months of each other and it was really hard for me. Then, my parents forced me to move to Chicago with them. My parents did not give me the choice to where I would want to go to college, it was UIC, or nothing. I had to leave my friends and try to make new ones, which i didn’t, btw. Needless to say I was fucking depressed. Every damn day since March, I’d say the same thing... I want a dog. I want a dog. I want a dog. In July, my mother cracked and admitted she had been in contact with a breeder in Chicago. On July 10th, 2010, as I was crying on my bed, depressed as ever, my mother walked into my room and told me to get up and come with her to get my baby dog. We got to the breeder’s house and I got to pick my pup. Olexa was surrounded by 3 of her brothers and one of her sisters. She was the oddest looking one with her black fur and her little patch of white on her chest (all ther siblings looked just like yorkies), which drew my attention right the way. She also tried to climb up my leg so it was like “okayyyyy... you want me, i was you. let’s go!” And that is how Olexa became part of my life. :))))))
