A slow decline,

That leaves you alone,

In the dark and cold.

It's burned in your mind,

What you never really knew.

A formless image floating before you.

Begging you to tear up your roots.

And face the blazing East,

But it is dark as well.

It's a wilting thing to remember,

How the sun gave you strength,

Its light,

Its power,

And as it all faded,

It put faith in your name.

To be selfless is a blessing,

A virtue.

But what a damning thing,

To be lost without a self,

And without the light,

Literally a perfect sequence of events. this is so cute. Sonic listens in on his friends from the roof sometimes, and he swoops in the second Cream starts crying. because he's so darn sweet. universal big brother right here. But he doesn't understand why the TV being broken would upset someone so much, since Sonic hardly uses the thing.

He doesn't say it's not a big deal, though. He's not being dismissive of Cream's feelings, he's just a little surprised and confused. The TV's really that important? He had no idea. He's discovering new things today, even if he doesn't really get it.
