I absolutely loved drawing their OCs, I love these guys.. they are so special to me š I loved doing all the mini references in the details !! After August is just such a lovely story, and I was so excited to make a piece representing these characters and their world.

I really need your help. It has been a week since my pup was hit by a motorcycle. Thankfully, his appetite has returned and he eats well, but his left leg is still paralyzed. The swelling has gone down, yet his foot has no strength or life in it. He canāt stand, walk, or play the way he used to, and it breaks my heart to see him struggle. I want to take him to the vet as soon as possible, but I canāt do it alone.
Before the accident, he was the most energetic of all the puppiesāalways running, playing, and full of life. Now, he spends most of his time lying down, watching his siblings play, wanting so badly to join them but unable to. Itās so painful to see him like this.

Overview of some topics when it comes to drawing characters who are burn survivors.
DISCLAIMER. Please keep in mind that this is an introductory overview for drawing some burn scars and has a lot of generalizations in it, so not every āX is Zā statement will be true for Actual People. I'm calling this introductory because I hope to get people to actually do their own research before drawing disabled & visibly different characters rather than just making stuff up. Think of it as a starting point and take it with a grain of salt (especially if you have a very different art style from mine).
Talking about research and learning... don't make your burn survivor characters evil. Burn survivors are normal people and don't deserve to be constantly portrayed in such a way.
