Having a toddler is fun because you'll slowly start to understand their babble despite it still being absolute gibberish, and it's a testament to how much time you spend together.

On the other hand, while I understand that my toddler is trying to say water, if we were out in public I'm going to get a lot of side-eyed looks for my toddler saying the N word.

And if you're wondering "But the word water sounds nothing like the N word." You'd be correct. I don't know how we got here.
